Bread Corn Is Bruised

Bread corn is bruised; because He will not always be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of His cart.  This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.  Isaiah 28:28-29

God is preparing that which shall become "bread for the hungry".  Jesus is the "LIVING BREAD" which came down from heaven, (John 6:51), was broken for the world.  And now, that which is becoming HIS BODY, becoming in Him "one bread", 1 Cor 10:16, is also being bruised, broken, as a living sacrifice which shall become the ministration of His life for ALL of His creation.

Would you be poured out as wine upon the Altar to Me?
Would you be broken as bread to feed the hungry?
Would you be so one in Me that I may do just as I will
To make you life, and light, and love, My Word fulfill?

You who have been puzzled by these pressures and processes which have engulfed you, be encouraged that "it pleased Him ...it was the will of the Lord," to bruise us in this hour, until broken and contrite we might become bread corn for the nations. "He took the five loaves ... He blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves...to the multitude,"  Matt 14:19.

He will not always be threshing it!  The bruising cycle has an end, and then He takes this prepared loaf and tenderly ministers it to the hungry.  That pure kernel of life, once contained in itself, is now ready to become a life-giving power in others, drawing Christ through its utter brokenness in the hand of God.  No wonder it pleased the Lord!  He knew what the ultimate gain of the bruising of His saints would be.

Ignatius once said, "God has made me bread for His elect, and if it be needful that the bread must be ground in the teeth of the lion to feed His children, blessed be the name of the Lord."

Everything must give way to a mellowness, a brokenness in us.  Thus His life shall be manifested to a creation waiting to be fed.

And I think your words cover it for the whole world too. He will not always bind to disobedience, for he will have mercy on all. The day is not a slave to the night, for the night can only exist when the sun is moving. Someday our Joshua will raise his arm, and reveal his authority and command the sun to stand still and there shall only be day until all armies are defeated and placed under his feet.

Essentially, I am saying that there will not always be night (destruction, sin, war, pain, sorrow) because Jesus will hold the sun in the sky (bring light to the world) and all armies will be defeated (everyone will become submissive to Christ). Like you in your OP, I believe that Christ is manifest through the Body, rather than as a single individual. I believe he is a single individual but as the head of the Body he will cause his arms (the ambassadors of Christ on the earth) to bring this miracle of victory to the world.

I think I understand the "connection" that your reply was making to the OP... and as always, you have given me some more things/scriptures to ponder... God's richest blessings on all your efforts to bring the truly GOOD NEWS to a very hungry/thirsty world.
