Title: both willing AND able
Post by: marie glen on January 29, 2020, 02:01:06 PM

Matthew 8: 2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Why are we supposed to believe after this so brief life, He cannot - or - does not want to "make clean"?!

Marie, just saw this topic, and it was something I wrestled with during my own UR researches.  One day I just realized that God is omnipotent, so of course He is able!  I knew He was willing - that part is easy to find out, but the "able" part was so obvious that I could not see it right away.

We are part of the entire created cosmos, which God will restore.
