Hey all my UR pals,

I just want to say that I'm growing in grace just like some of you are. I have been corrected by the Spirit in the past and I will continue to be corrected in the present and the future. I remember where and how I was when God found me. I know I'm not where I need to be in the Lord, but I thank God that I'm not the same as I was when He found me. Thank you Jesus. Sanctification is a process to be conformed to the image of My Lord and Savior Jesus. Some get processed faster than others, but it is still a process. No one has arrived yet, including me. I just thank God He will finish this process to Glorification!

I have no pleasure in saying that most of you on this board are religious believers that give God lip service. You are not born again with the Spirit of Christ dwelling in you. Christianity is a family, not a Religion. You have to be born into God's family. You can't join it like every other social club religion. Just because you reside on this forum does not make you a Christian. Those of you who are not saved( most on this forum)....

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for sin on the cross, and now offers Himself to be your Lord and Savior.

God bless

Peace to ya.
See ya on the other side one day.
One day your knee will bow too, just like ours have.
It will bow from the sheer weight of His love.

See ya then.

:cloud9: I don't think anyone intends to ban you "lee" as long as you follow the forum rules.

I will tell you I think it's the height of presumption to presume to do the Lord's work for Him in determining who is and who isn't, of which you have no way of knowing apart from the Spirit of God revealing it to you, which I know He has not done.

He corrects all of us, but UR is not something He's going to correct us on, for the simple reason that HE is the one who showed it to us. So you are literally boxing with God on that one, and your arms are waaaay too short. Blessings....

PS. Amen, Sparrow.....

The Gift of Salvation !   NO POOF
Discover for yourself what Scriptures actually teach about the work of Christ.  There is one thing most hold in common: the confidence that man can use his own " Positive Volition" or "Free Will" to accept Christ and get himself "saved" .
More than a century ago a great man of God, A. P. Adams, penned the following: "I wish to add a word further in regard to the Salvation of ALL men, suggested by the following extract which I clipped from one of my exchanges.  The extract is as follows: The Rev. B.W. Ward, the popular Boston evangelist, and efficient superintendent of the Bleeker St. Mission.  Thus beautifully illustrates the Gift of Salvation: A friend of mine invited me into a jewelry store and asked the clerk for samples of their pocket knives. Placing the price of he best one  alongside of it, on the counter, he said, Ward, I want to make you a little present. There's a knife and there is the price of it, make your choice. Take which one you will as a momento from me.  ( Just like mike saying with a dollar bill in hand, just reach out and take it.) Now, said the evangelist, whose knife was that while it lay there on the counter? It wasn't mine. It would become mind by my deciding to accept it; but without such an act on my part it was not for me. So of salvation. Jesus has paid the price, but the sinner must decide whether or not he will reach forth and take it before it becomes his.
In this extract it will be seen that the salvation of the individual is made to depend upon his own decision. THE SINNER MUST DECIDE, and as he decides so will his future destiny be to all eternity.  Thus ONE'S salvation is practically made to depend on one's self.  God and Christ have done or are doing their part and now they simply wait for the sinner's decision.  By the way, how long did God wait for the ' decision ' of Saul of Tarsus when [ it pleased God to call him ?] Most people, however, would accept the above extract as a correct presentation of the case, and would assent thereto without any hesitation. But there is a fatal defect in the illustration. The case of the one choosing the knife or {Michael's and Dave's story of the dollar bill } is NOT PARALLEL TO THAT OF THE SINNER CHOOSING SALVATION, because the former has his EYES WIDE OPEN  and knows full well the value of what is presented to him for his choice, while the LATTER IS BLINDED, and knoweth not what he does, 'but if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost; in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ ...should shine unto them (II Cor. 4: 3-4 ).  " The bible plainly teaches that fallen man is blinded to the truth; the soulical man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned, and the soulical man has not the spirit.  This the sinner does not realize and appreciate the value of the salvation that is offered to him.  In the first place, he does not know that he is lost, and hence feels no need of salvation.  Secondly, this sinner does not know that the salvation offered him in Christ is worth anything.  All he has to go by in determining its worth is the lives of those who profess to possess it, and they for the most part, are very deficient illustrations of its merit.

Furthermore the sinner is surrounded by circumstances entirely adverse to his acceptance of Christ. And finally, worse than all, 'the mind of the flesh' a corrupt nature, an 'evil heart of unbelief,' a body of death,' that leans toward the BAD and opposes the good continually: and mark you, all these things are circumstances over which the individual has NO control and for which he is NOT to blame.  "Again, mark you, that if he overcomes these unfavorable circumstances and in spite of them does accept Christ, it must be by some power OUTSIDE OF HIMSELF, for in himself he would never have any power for his own deliverance.  This is the teaching of the 7th chapter of Romans.  God must deliver him if he is delivered at ALL he must bring him to the knowledge of his lost condition, so that he will feel his need of a Saviour, and he must give him repentance and faith. God must open his eyes so that he shall not only see the need, but also the priceless value of salvation, that like the apostle Paul, he will be willing to count all things but dross for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus his Lord.
" And he must be endowed with power to overcome the evil around and within him.  ALL this help must come from God, and must be imparted to the sinner before he can make the slightest movement toward salvation.  Are there any such elements as these in the case of the man choosing the knife?  Is it not plain that that illustration and the case of the sinner are NOT PARALLEL at all?  And yet just such illustrations are constantly presented as setting forth exactly the case of the sinner in "his" choice or rejection of salvation in Christ!  The fact is there are many factors to be taken into account in the regeneration and new creation of a human being.  It is not such a small matter as picking up a little present that a friend passes over to you. Hence these illustrations are very faulty and misleading " -----------end quote.
When addressing the unsaved, an evangelist often drew an analogy between Gods sending the gospel to the sinner, and a sick man in bed, with some healing medicine on a table by his side; all he needs to do is reach forth his hand and take it,  ( like Michael's or Dave's dollar bill story ) But in order for this illustration to be in any wise true to the picture which scriptures gives us of the fallen and deprived sinner, the sick man in bed must be described as one who is Blind(Eph. 4:18),so that he can not see the medicine, his hand paralyzed(Rom.5:6) so that he is unable to reach forth for it, and his heart not only devoid of all confidence in the medicine but filled with hatred against the physician himself (Jn. 15:18 ).  Oh, what superficial views of man's desperate plight are not entertained!

Christ come here NOT to help those who were willing to help themselves, or even those willing to be helped, but to do for people what they were incapable of doing for them selves: "to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house". (Isa. 42:7)
Some one will ask, "will God save men eventually against their will?"  The answer is NO !  He will have no need to do that, for ALL men will be 100% willing when God reveals Himself to them.  Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped, and the doors of the prison house shall be opened.  We have only to consider the case of Saul of Tarsus to understand the miraculous power of the Lord to change the leopard's spots and melt the heart of stone. {new-cov.Jer 31:31 or Ez.36:26-27 ).  There are those who suppose that God could not convert a soul unless that depraved and lost soul gives to almighty God that permission. ( NOT ). I only wish they would ask the Apostle Paul, that Great despiser of Christ and hater of His church, that persecutor of Christians, who while on his way to Damascus was suddenly cast to the ground and converted (turned ).  No man was ever more hateful toward Christ than was Saul of Tarsus, yet, when his turn came (to see the light), he changed in an instant, crying out in fear and trembling and with bitter repentance, "Who art thou, Lord? " and "What will thou have me do ?" Did God ask Saul of Tarsus whether or not he wanted to be saved ?, or did He say to Ananias, "He is a chosen vessel unto me to bear My name before the gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel"  (Acts 9:15 )  It is only God who can change the human heart, and when God wills to change every single human heart in earth and in hell, each will be changed in an INSTANT (Twinkle ).
Jer,31:31-34 Plus Ez.36:26-27

Behold, the days come, saith the lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their "hearts"; and will be their God, and they shall be my people, 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, Saying, know the Lord: for they shall ALL know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their inquity, and I will remember their sin ( singular ) no more.   EZ. 36: 26-27 says, A new heart also will I give you, and 'ALL'. a new spirit will I put WITHIN YOU: and  I will take away the stony heart out of you 'flesh' and I will give you a heart of flesh.  And I will put my spirit WITHIN you, and CAUSE YOU TO WALK IN MY STATUTES, and ye shall keep my judgments, and DO THEM...29 And I will save you from ALL  your uncleannesses, ( Sin ). Can you understand ALL This....?

100/37: "....if the light that is in you be darkness, how great  is that darkness."

Seneca, in one of his letters, tells of an idiot slave in his house, who had suddenly become blind. "Now, incredible as the story seems, it is really true that she is unconscious of her blindness, and consequently begs her attendant to go elsewhere because the house is dark. But you may be sure that this, at which we laugh in her, happens to us all; no one understands that he is a avaricious or covetous. The blind seek for a guide; we wander about without a guide."

"Seeing falsely is worse than blindness. A man who is too dim-sighted to discern the road from the ditch, may feel which is which; but if the ditch appears manifestly to him to be the road, and the road to be the ditch, what shall become of him? False seeing is unseeing, on the negative side of blindness" (Ruskin, "Modern Painters").

Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

Now, Lee100 makes himself JUDGE of what he cannot even see... That supposes our faith as LIP SERVICE... and eliminates us as part of the FAMILY of GOD, ...removing CHRISTIANITY from our experience by HIS DETERMINATION!  :laughing7:  ...the words of a FOOL which LOVES NOT his neighbor, neither FORGIVES his neighbor, neither brings GOOD NEWS to his neighbor... instead, JUDGES his neighbor, ...determines his neighbor without the ability to SEE into the soul... places his neighbor OUTSIDE of Salvation and HIMSELF within it...

Please... :rolleye: ...your words are getting more IGNORANTLY foolish each time you speak, Lee100...

This sorrowful statement reminds me of this:

Luke 18:11-12 -- the PHARISEE stood, and prayed thus with himself and God, ...I THANK THEE THAT ...I... AM NOT AS OTHER MEN ARE -- EXTORTIONERS, UNJUST, ADULTERERS, OR EVEN AS THIS PUBLICAN... I FAST TWICE IN THE WEEK, I GIVE TITHES OF ALL THAT I POSSESS...

Luke 18:  and the PUBLICAN standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto Heaven, but smote upon his breast saying GOD, be merciful to me, ...a SINNER.

to which CHRIST said:

Luke 18:14  I tell you THIS: this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other.  For EVERY ONE THAT EXALTETH HIMSELF shall BE ABASED, and he that HUMBLETH HIMSELF shall BE EXALTED

Lee100 significantly tried to EXALT HIMSELF in this post (see bold/red in quote)... CHOOSING Himself for SALVATION and depicting HIMSELF as BORN AGAIN... all the while:

CONDEMNING (see bold/blue in quote) the membership of TENTMAKER to "LIP SERVICE" and NOT being BORN AGAIN, noting MOST of the membership on this forum as UNSAVED...

Almost to a word is comparable to the above Scriptures I have just noted -- Luke 18:11-14  Certainly in the SAME FLAVOR...

Instead of accomplishing the endeavor to EXALT HIMSELF, ...Lee100 is found DEBASING HIMSELF with his OWN WORDS...  :sigh:

HAVE A PATTERN OF SOUND WORDS

Paul wrote to Timothy  in his Last letter:
Have a pattern of sound words, which you hear from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus
( 2 Tim 1: 13 ).
Immediately, the question is asked:
"What does it mean to ' Have a pattern of sound words' ?"  By way of explanation, let us bear in mind the fact that thought is expressed in words, and if those words do not express the exact thought of the speaker or writer his exact thought  is not expressed.  Hence, we see the basic importance of having a "form", "stencil" ,or
"pattern"  of  sound words expressing the exact thoughts contain in the original languages in which the Scriptures were written, if we are to get the exact thoughts which God revealed.
In the second place, it will be well to remember that God did not speak or have the Scriptures written in English. Our Bible is only a translation into English of what God inspired holy men to write in the Hebrew, Chaldee, and Greek languages.  Therefore, it becomes evident to all, that, unless we  have "a pattern of sound words" in our English Bible, expressing exactly and precisely what God said in the original languages of inspiration, we will not have God's thoughts.  We will merely have man's opinionated version of God's Word.

                                                              The New Nature
                                                                                                                    Spiritual not Carnal
The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (our new nature) supercedes the Law of Sin and Death, our old carnal nature.  Every life has a law.  Adam, our carnal nature, has a life law that constantly brings us into sin and death.  Just like a bird sings and flies, and a dog barks, because it is their Law of Life.  You cannot defy a law unless it is superceded by a higher law.  Take the law of gravity, for instance.  You can't not defy the law of gravity.  If you get on a building and jump off, the law of gravity is going to pull you down.  You cannot live out of Adam without the law of Sin and Death pulling you down.  I don't care how strong your desires for God are, I don't care how bad you want Adam to be conformed into Christ----He cannot be!  The law of his life will continually pull you down when he tries to be godly.  It was designed that way, because in the Tabernacles realm there is no place for carnality, none!  Even in the Old testament, it said, "No man can see God and Live...( Ex.33:20).  The moment that Christ begins to appear within you, you see that Adam is dead.  And when you realize that, then you understand the scriptures that say, "And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming (2 Th. 2:8 )  He destroys that Law of Sin and Death that is continually pulling you down and not allowing you to operate in the realm of spirit.  The Law of the Spirit of His life raises you above the law of sin and death.  The only way you can defy the law of gravity is to get into a higher law, the law of lift.  An airplane can defy the law of gravity.  When you begin to enter into Tabernacles, the law of His Life Supercedes the Law of Sin and Death.

Lee100 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS
New Testament (   Law  Vs.   Grace   )Now in this translation, the statement, "a different evangel, which is not another," is both readable and intelligible.  First, the Greek word HETERON, literally means DIFFERENT, and denotes not the same, distinct, unlike.  This clearly reveals, in accord with what we have already learned, that there are "different gospels" in the Scriptures.  Furthermore, Paul marveled that the Galatians were "removed" or transferred to "a different gospel" from that which he had brought to them.  And he also declared that it was "not another" gospel for them!  Now the truth of this statement may be recognized for the reality of what it says when we remember that Christ affirmed that "the Scripture cannot be              ( 'broken' ) annulled" (John 10:35).  This reveals that Scripture MEANS EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS, and FOR WHOM IT IS SAID.  Therefore, if a "gospel" which was divinely ordained for one people, is perverted to another, its promises simply cannot be fulfilled.

Consequently, it is "not another" gospel or "good news" for them.  And those to whom it is being preached, becomes both disturbed and deceived.  Now when this "different gospel" while true for the people for whom it was divinely ordained, was perversely forced upon the Galatians, the Uncircumcision, the "gentiles," its promises could not be fulfilled, therefore, their faith was misplaced and nullified! ( Dose this sound like lee100) And on this account Paul doubly emphasized the "curse" or anathema upon the preachers, saying, "though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you        ( Galatians, the Uncircumcision or "gentiles"), than that ye have received, let him be accursed" (Gal   1:8-9;2:2,7).    Now the reason for all this defense is as follows.  Paul had gone into Galatia in accord with his divinely ordained commission, bringing the gospel which came to him through a revelation of Jesus Christ" (Gal. 1:11-12 ), for which he had been separated (Rom 1:1-5),and which he specifically designated "that gospel which I preach among the gentiles" (Gal 2:2), and "the gospel of the Uncircumcision" ( Gal 2:7) .  Later, Christianized Jewish preachers visited the churches of Galatia and "removed" or transferred the believers from the grace of Christ in which they had been called to "a different Gospel" of faith and works , which was none other than "the gospel of the Circumcision" that was committed unto Peter for the Circumcision ( Gal 2:7-9 ) Consequently, they were urged to be "circumcised"        ( Gal 5: 2-3; 6: 12-13 ), to "observe days, months, seasons and years" ( Gal 4:8-11 ), and to be "zealous for the law" and "live according to the customs of Moses" like as the Jewish believers were demanded by " the gospel of the Circumcision"         Gal 3:1-9; 4:19-21; 6:12-15; Acts 21:19-21.  Therefore, Paul was moved by "a revelation" to go up to Jerusalem and "communicate, " submit or make known to them—James, Peter and John, who are supposed to be pillars—"that gospel which he preached among the gentiles" ( Gal 2:1-10).  At this meeting, those of repute—James, Peter and John—submitted nothing to Paul ! On the contrary, Titus, being a Greek believer through Paul's ministry, was not permitted to be circumcised, and Paul did not simulate or give place by subjection, not even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with us  (Gal 2:1-5 ).  Furthermore, at that meeting, it was clearly revealed that Paul had been entrusted with "the gospel of the Uncircumcision, according as Peter of the Circumcision."  And also, "when James, Cephas ( Peter ) and John, who seemed to be pillars, learned of the grace that was given to Paul, they gave to him and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that they should go unto the "heathen" or nations, and they unto the  circumcision" ( Gal 2:7-9 ).  After this meeting, Paul was moved by the Spirit to write this epistle to the Galatians, that they might be delivered from this disturbance and bondage of the law to which they had been "removed" or transferred from the truth of the gospel of the grace of God, which he had brought them, with its freedom of Sonship through the hearing of faith apart from works of the law

Gal 3: 1-14.  He also was quite vehement in his protest against the preacher, invoking the "curse" or anathema ( which was the ancient custom of devoting a person to an expiatory or atoning sacrifice to the gods in order to avert public calamity), upon any man, even himself or a messenger from heaven, who would bring "ANY OTHER GOSPEL  TO THEM      ( The Galatians, the Uncircumcision or "gentiles")THAN THAT WHICH HE, PAUL HAD PREACHED TO THEM !" What would Paul say to apostate Christendom if he were here today, when, conservatively speaking, seventy-five % of its teachings, beliefs, customs and practices are drawn from the Circumcision gospel and writings, thus "removing" or transferring believers from the grace of Christ, in which they are called, and consequently distorting the gospel of Christ.
God has clearly and definitely declared that Paul was His chosen vessel to bear His name to the "gentiles" or nations.  He entrusted to him the specific gospel for the nations by a revelation of Jesus Christ  ( Gal 1:12), namely, "the gospel of the Uncircumcision" (Gal 2:7 ).  He was separated and commissioned the apostle, herald and teacher of the nations in knowledge and truth ( Rom 1: 1-5;11:13;15:15-18 ).

And he was also given the glorious revelations of Grace, Justification, Conciliation, Reconciliation, the "mystery" or secret ordained before the "world" or eons for our glory, and the administration of the secret, with the happy expectation and allotment of grace glorious among the celestials in the heavens for believing nations, (peoples).
Yet in spite of all these grand and transcendently glorious truths, of which the Circumcision apostles scarcely dreamed, to say nothing of preaching or teaching them, we find "theology" and the  "religious teaching" of Christendom super-imposing the gospel of the Circumcision, concerning the earthly kingdom and its allotments of terrestrial glory (earth-base), upon these grand revelations for the heavens, revealed through Paul.  Such ministry beclouds, bedims, and befogs the glorious truths of the spiritual blessings which God has so graciously provided and ordained for believers today, in this administration of His Grace !  And, how often we hear the confident, contented, complacent comment, "O we take Paul's writings together with all the other writings of the Bible!  How little those who persist in such lawlessness and unbelief, realize that they are preaching and believing "a different gospel" than that which God had graciously ordained and revealed for them, and are consequently "removed" or Transferred from the Grace of Christ!  And the sad and lamentable part of it all is, that those who receive and believe "another" or "different gospel" then that which God gave Paul for the Uncircumcision or "gentiles, " for this administration of grace, though it be in the Bible, are, nevertheless, misplacing and nullifying their faith, because the promises cannot be fulfilled to them  !  They have been erroneously taught, deceived, lied to and removed from the grace of Christ!  They have "fallen from grace" and "Christ profits them nothing," consequently, "they are debtors to do the WHOLE LAW"  ( Gal. 5:2-6)!

Finally, God has already separated "the gospel of the Uncircumcision" for the "gentiles" or nations from " the gospel of the Circumcision" ( Gal 2: 1-9 ), and placed in it that which cannot be Mixed or Confused with the demands and promises of the " other gospels" of the Scriptures without "frustrating" or (Repudiating His Grace---deny the truth or validity of or/and refuse to accept or be associated with.) ( Gal 2:21) ! This joining together and mixing, misplacing and misapplying demands and promises which God has ordained for one people in another administration, (age ) with the peoples of this administration, (age ) of the secret and the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus today, distorts and perverts the Scriptures.  Consequently, it draws down the " CURSE " or Anathema on the one thus preaching or teaching, even though he be an angel ( messenger ), from heaven!  Therefore, we should give the most earnest consideration and obedient recognition to what God has written, that we may "correctly cut the word of truth" and thus present ourselves to Him qualified, unashamed, approved workers, and receive His blessed applause in that day ( 2 Tim. 2:15;--But a ( Blind man) cant see , until a unveiling happens.)-- 1 Cor. 4:1-5)               The Gospel of OUR Salvation

What an arrogant sweeping statement to make, implying that the majority on here are not true christians, exactly how did this revelation come to you, did you dust your crystal ball and look into it, or did you look towards the starry sky and suddenly receive this revelation that most of us are doomed and deluded sinners, with the exception of yourself and the couple of others you think are "truly saved"

Matthew 7

1    Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2    For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Mk. 4.24
3    And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4    Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5    Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
6    ¶ Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

And before you answer me, or the others that you consider "unsaved" that we have no business quoting scriptures

2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:,That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

You see, the knife cuts both ways, and works for anyone trying to preach a doctrine

Lee you have no pals. That's why you are so bitter. Surely you don't see us as pals because we are infected as you wrote in another thread.
Neither do you have pals in your own community because they are afraid you take one of the few seats in Heaven.

No worries Shadow. He admitted we give lip service. Maybe we don't act right but at least we speak right/the truth.
If not it wouldn't be even lip service. Then we would be like Lee giving  disservice.

True  Bornagains
Circumcision = Law people / Israelites
Uncircumcision = Grace people  /  Gentiles
NEVER       MIX    THESE GOSPELS--
                                 NEW BIRTH   AND   ADOPTION

How few ever think of recognizing the difference between the new birth and adoption as taught by the Scriptures? Yet these are things of consequence which should be clearly distinguished. The new birth is found ONLY in the Circumcision writings and has its application to the sons of Israel because of their covenant relationship with Jehovah their God. Theirs was "the sonship"  ( Ex.4:22; Hosea 11:1-4; Rom. 9:4,Greek), from which they STRAYED and became "prodigals" (Luke 15:11-24), or "the lost sheep of the house of Israel" (Mat. 10:5-6; 15:24)  For THEM to enter the kingdom of God and enjoy their sonship again, they must be "begotten anew" or BORN AGAIN by the water and the Spirit  (John 3:3-8; Eze. 36:22-36). It APPLIES STRICTLY TO ISRAEL AND concerns THEIR earthly salvation and allotment in a future day of restoration ( Isa. 66:7-9; John 3:2, 10-12; Eze. 36:22-38).

                                         US GENTILES  Bornagain ??????

On the other hand, Gentiles, who never had any sonship, are aliens, without hope and God in the world ( Acts 14:16; 17:24-28; Eph. 2:11-12). By His grace THROUGH FAITH they receive the ADOPTION of sons and are made members of God's family  (Eph. 1:5; 2:11-19; Rom. 8:15, 23). PAUL ALONE speaks of sonship by ADOPTION, and the salvation with an allotment of glory IN THE HEAVENS (Eph. 1:3-5; Phil 3:20).
May we be very diligent NOT to confuse these two ways which God has provided for Israelites and Gentiles to become members of His family.

                                BORNAGAINS ??????????????

The second note of explanation is, that "in that era," prior to 2 Cor. 5:14-17, summer A. D. 57, during Paul's priestly administration of "the gospel of the Uncircumcision" among the nations, the Circumcision who received his message, were "justified OUT of faith," and the Uncircumcision "THROUGH faith" (Rom. 3:30), and " in one spirit also all were baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and all were made to imbibe one spirit" and were "one body" in Christ (1 Cor. 12:12-13, 27-28). Nevertheless, it must be distinctly remembered, that according to the Scriptures, the Jew remained a Jew and the Greek remained a Greek, with the Circumcision or Jew having the preeminence and advantage (Rom. 3:1-2; 15:16, 26-27; Eph. 2:11-12). And, it was NOT until we cross the date line-----"FROM NOW ON" of 2 Cor. 5:14-17 summer A.D. 57 -----that we read anything about the nullification and repudiation of fleshly ties and distinctions, covenants and privileges, and all becoming one by  A NEW CREATION. Furthermore, this truth and blessing of "a new creation" applies ONLY TO those who receive "the gospel of the Uncircumcision" and Its complement, " the secret of the evangel" of which Paul was granted the grace to be the "minister" or dispenser  (Rom. 16:25; Eph. 6:19). And, moreover, it is supremely important that WE grasp with clear distinction of understanding the DIFFERENCE between  "a new creation," by which WE BECOME "the new humanity," IN CHRIST,  now IN SPIRIT , and the blessed reality of it all when we are assembled in His presence and glory with Him.  Now, to accord with the truth of being "a new creation," and consequently, "the new humanity" in Christ, we are taught as concerning our conduct, to "put off from us, as regards our former behavior, the old humanity," that is, "stripping off the old humanity together with its practises,"  and to "put on the new humanity" or "the young, which is being renewed into recognition to accord with the Image of the One Who creates it, wherein there is no Greek and Jew, Circumcision and Uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, slave, freeman, but all and in all IS Christ" (Eph. 4:20-25; Col. 3:8-11).
On the contrary, Israel and the nations, as such will be brought to God, in Christ, for salvation, and consequently, reconciliation and peace, with a conduct and deportment producing the fruits of "righteousness and benignity of the truth." However, there is not the slightest intimation of information that save Israel, "the bride, the wife of the Lamb, " or " the nations " will ever be " a new creation." and consequently, a "new humanity" as it applies to "the ecclesia (church) which is the Body of Christ."  Should they become "a new creation," they would be other or different, and therefore, Israel would cease to be Israel and the nations would no longer be nations! Yet Isaiah 66:22 affirms that Israel's name and seed shall abide, while Rev. 21:12 confirms the truth that even the distinctions between the twelve tribes will be "permanently perpetuated," and Rev. 21:24-26 reveals that the nations of the earth will continue to be nations, outside the holy city, new Jerusalem, and distinct from Israel. These are supremely important DISTINCTIONS OF TRUTH which must be clearly partitioned for the people, time and place FOR WHOM THEY HAVE BEEN DIVINELY ORDAINED, AND MUST NEVER BE MIXED WITH THE  Pauline revelation, IF we are to enter into the full measure of realization and appreciation of the transcendent riches of God's grace in His kindness to us, "the church which is the body of Christ," in our allotment of spiritual blessings and celestial glory as "a new creation," and consequently, " the new humanity."

Accidently overlooked the question Lee100?  :laughing7:
I'll give you a hint.
Religion is made up of two Latin words.
And if you understand those words you will (hopefully) see your false claim and have to agree Christianity is all about religion.

I am dealing with someone who has alzheimers right now.  Do you guys have any idea how much love and patience it takes to deal with someone who does not have a short term memory that lasts beyond 15 minutes?  In a one hour conversation, you find yourself repeating yourself three or four times.

Aside from the heartbreaking aspect of it, it takes huge self control to not lose it and start screaming, I have just told you that 3 times in the last hour, you idiot!

What you learn, beyond patience,  is that you have to bridle the tongue to give someone else the best gift we have to give--human kindness.

God grant you His compassion to pour out, Molly. Blessings....

ww,

Religion = self righteous people joining organizations to gain acceptance of God through works. There is no power or salvation in religion. That comes by a personal Relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus faught the religious pharisee and condemned them. Read Matthew 23. That is what Jesus thought of religion. You can join any religion in the world by believing their man made rules. You have to be born into the Family of God, Christianity. You can't join Christianity. Christians are born, not made.

lee100,

Re-Ligion

Re means something like:  Redo. Start over. Return.

Ligion comes from Ligare. Means (to) bind. => The English word Ligarment has it's root in Ligare.

Re-Ligion = Re-Ligare = Redo-Bind

Haven't we become disconnected/loosend from our Creator?
Isn't the aim to become reattached?  Redo the Binding with God? Reconnect to God?

Lee100 I guess I Read History books different, Strong's says:

An outward form of diving service, such as the rites  and   ceremonies, ordinances    and    statutes of the sacerdotal system given through Moses.  while ritualist is one who conforms to and practises this ritual. The Scirptures also use the word religion in Acts 25:19 and religious Acts 17:22 They ore derived from the Greek deisidaimonia, which means DREAD-demonism, and donotes the superstitious veneration and worship of demons through dread and fear

G1174
δεισιδαιμονέστερος
deisidaimonesteros
dice-ee-dahee-mon-es'-ter-os
The compound of a derivative of the base of G1169 and G1142; more religious than others: - too superstitious.

G1175
δεισιδαιμονία
deisidaimonia
dice-ee-dahee-mon-ee'-ah
From the same as G1174; religion: - superstition.

G1169
δειλός
deilos
di-los'
From δέος deos (dread); timid, that is, (by implication) faithless: - fearful.

G1142

From δαίω daiō (to distribute fortunes); a demon or super natural spirit (of a bad nature): - devil.
