I found this verse while reading Seth's article Few Chosen: A Kingdom Come over at mercifultruth.com and I found it interesting.

1 Peter 3:22 (Amplified Bible)

22[And He] has now entered into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with [all] angels and authorities and powers made subservient to Him.

1 Peter 3:22 (Young's Literal Translation)

22who is at the right hand of God, having gone on to heaven -- messengers, and authorities, and powers, having been subjected to him.

Maybe it doesn't mean what I got out of it at all. But I thought a possible translation might suggest this: that Christ is reconciling, and making submissive, angels. Why would he need to make submissive angels that already follow him? Although, another translation might simply suggest that Christ is now simply in command over the angels since he rose from the dead.

Do you guys have any theories?

Beloved Servant

There is only one Truth and one Name above all names.
Angels don't obey — they deliver.
The message is the angel.
And often comes from the most unsuspected.

well, satan came to Him in the wilderness, presenting himself

as an angel of light..to Jesus Christ...

this 'principality of darkness" wanted one act of obediance

finally the prince of this world was judged....

Luke 10; 17...Lord,even the demons submit to us in

YOUR NAME.  He replied, 'I saw satan fall like lightening

from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes

and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy,

nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits

submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in

  heaven "

Paul, JB were angels , messengers of HIS message, simple enough... each of us , as Paul brought to submission to HE WHO IS...

Heaven , the high Place is a realm, the place where we, who are kings and priests dwell , I see it in simplistic terms as a state of mind at ONE with HIS.... :icon_flower:

It is really simple, if you know what an angel is. I am a flagger on the road controling traffic, and every time is see a UPS truck go by I say to the other man, "Your last vehicle is a black angel" Which is the true meaning of the word, " Any message delivery system" So if a preacher is up on the stage preaching that you are to follow all 640 Laws in the bible ( including the 10 commandments), He is preaching a message of death i.e. Trangression of the law is sin and sin = death. There is no life in death, so if you follow the law you are preaching and speaking to anyone a word that only = death.  Making you a messenger of death, those are some of the messengers that JC and the father are working on, us.
