Romans 11:26, Paul writes .."and so all Israel will be saved"
Ephesians 3:6 says "the mystery is that through the gospel the gentiles are joint heirs with Israel" - the gospel was now preached to the nations..
And some may stop there.. But Ephesians 1:9,10 says "..the mystery of His will.. that in the administration of the fullness of times, to gather into and head up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things upon Earth".
Previously, there was no salvation (gospel) offered to the gentiles (except a few exceptions who cleaved to Israel and all the laws).. though it was of course prophesied.
It finally dawned on me that the two were one mystery.. That Paul fully expected that "all Israel would be saved". And it was Universal Reconciliation - that all Israel would be saved, and now this all was passed to the nations.
Upon Earth, Israel (and individuals) could reap fiery indignation (the results of their own ways?) which of course is also true of other nations. But it was mere human idea and perception that the gospel and salvation (rescue) is only partial, with the chosen to come to the faith during this lifetime, somehow being the "all" and all others would be forever lost (and would burn forever in pagan pits of 'hel' )
