The mainstream orthodox view of a Hell of eternal torment (whether physical, spiritual, or both) is absolutely and unfathomably disgusting. It distorts the picture of a God, from an all loving being, into an absolute monster.
I suggest that you look deep into your heart on this matter. For if you do not see this, then you will never understand the supremacy of LOVE, that is: God.
Not saying that I understand it fully either, but I know I never would've even come close to understanding the incredible love of God while still believing in a Hell of eternal torment. I'm not saying that Gehenna doesn't exist, or a lake of fire, but rather, I believe these to be temporary. So, if you'd like to call Gehenna or the lake of fire, Hell, then sure, I believe in that. But only an age-lasting Hell.

But I have to add I view hell the way it is in teh Bible and not the way found in ET fantasy commentaries.

If by "Hell" you mean "Gehenna," then yes, Gehenna will be in force during the Millennium.
If by "Hell" you mean "Hades," then yes, Hades is the unseen or where one is interred at death and no longer seen a.k.a. Sheol or the grave in the Old Testament.

This age or eon in which we are living now began after the flood and will continue till the great earthquake comes in which all the cities of the nations will fall. Then the millennial age/eon will last 1000 years. Then the New Earth age/eon may last 1000 generations.
