When did man recieve a soul?
When did God give man a soul?
Where in the Bible does it read that man has a soul?
Man is made up of body [the dust of the ground] and the breath of life from Jehovah God.
Man IS a living soul, as far as I can read and study man does not have a soul nor was man
given a soul.
If man was given a soul, may I be shown scripture and verse when and where that happened?
I know, but I still seek an answer. The Lord Bless
Hi;
Thess 5;23,24 " But the God of peace Himself hallow you completely, and might yourentire spirit, and soul and body be preserved so as to be unblameable in the Presence of our LORD JESUS CHRIST! Faithful is He that is calling you Who will also perform."
When Christ was on the cross there flowed out water and blood as an indication that He had been sacrificed to cover all 3 aspects of our being. The flesh[body] the soul [blood]
and the water[spirit] since He is the water of life.
Keep looking brother. May He show His mercy and open your eyes like never before.

That is interesting still I believe we were mislead somewhere along our learning. I hear what you are saying and I can agree, as one who is still open to learning.
Gen. 2:7 defines what a soul is for me and that is what I have been given today to build on, not a theology doctrine, again I see and hear what you are saying. Examine these verses for me please.
Lev 17:14 for, as for the
life of all flesh, the blood thereof, for the life thereof, standeth, therefore have I said unto the sons of Israel—Of the blood
(life) of no manner of flesh, shall ye partake, For, the
life of all flesh is the blood thereof; whoso partaketh thereof, shall be cut off.
Keep looking brother. May He show His mercy and open your eyes like never before.
Eze 18:4 Lo! as for all
persons, mine they are, As the person of the father, so also the person of the son, mine they are,—The person that sinneth, the same shall die. (Rotherham)
Eze 18:4 Lo, all the
souls are Mine, As the soul of the father, So also the soul of the son--they are Mine, The soul that is sinning--it does die." (CLV)
Eze 18:20 The
soul that does sin--it does die. ....(CLV)
Eze 18:20 The
person that sinneth, the same, shall die,—(Rotherham)
Hi;
Interesting looking at different translations. The difference seems to be that Rotherham encapsulates the entire being as the whole person, where the other looks at part of that entity.
Also interesting that Paul sees the conflict between flesh and spirit as the real struggle in this life. He makes the statement that they are totally opposite to each other and cannot be together in the resurrection.
Gal 5;16-18 " Moreover I say be walking by Spirit and you will in no way fulfill fleshly coveting; for the flesh covets against the Spirit, but the Spirit against the flesh- for these two are opposed to one another lest you should be doing whatsoever things you chance to desire! And if you are being led by the Spirit you are not under law."
Gal 6;14-16 " With me , however, far be it to be boasting save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, whereby a world has been crucified to me and I to the world; for neither circumcision is anything nor uncircumcision, but a new creation; and as many as shall walk by this rule, peace and mercy of God be upon them and upon Israel."
There are many expressions about different parts of our being. E.g Eph 1;18 ' The eyes of your heart."
Eph 2;3 ' doing the things desired by the flesh and the mind.'
Eph 4;23 " And you were to be getting young again in the spirit of your mind."
The soul has been spoken of by many writers. Each of them seem to think that that is of a major inflence of what we say and do. Many try to promote their way of life as being the answer to all our problems. I was looking into the soul stuff and one author, Liberty Savard, put forward about the depth of the soul and the need to bring that part into total submission.Tthat was to be done with self-discipline to the extreme personal effort to control the soul by claiming the protection of soul, mind and body by Christ. This also put forward the idea of how our mind basically is like a computer hard drive with so much data in the hard drive. When a situation arises for us then the hard drive puts forward the best possible solution for that problem. The base that is drawn on is personal experience that worked before, or methods that have seemed to work for other people which have been stored away for any future situation. All well and good about something that gives the promise of protection from the enemy. No wonder we weretold to repent.
Now I see Christ as giving us a new hard drive which does things that make the old one obsolete. That seems to be why Paul refers to the being a new person and putting off the old. All my previous attempts to delete a problem or reprogramm the hard drive were all basically rubbish in comparison to the new being in Christ.
These seems to be part of the whole idea of how incredible we are now and this is only a little hint of the magnitude of things to come.
However many parts of our being there are they were ALL covered by the sacrifice of Christ as our substitute for every fibre of our being.
