What is God doing in your life?

I've found this question to be a great ice breaker /opener, when meeting an unfamiliar person.
The question is not obtrusive.
A stranger shouldn't get the feeling that you are too pushy or aggressive with them.
Their answer leads to a great opening for sharing the gospel with them.

Actually...it's quite surprising to hear of others experiences......even those you might not think would have any.   More often than not....you'll be pleasantly surprised to hear of their encounters with God.


My encounter with God today.

For years and years....I tried to bring my carnal desire under control by using (3) fleshly objectives.
I would tell myself the following :    (a.) don't talk   (b.) don't touch   (c.) don't look.
I would repeatedly say these things over and over again.
I was trying in the flesh to have power over my flesh by my flesh....but of course, it doesn't really work that way.

This morning when I woke up... 2-19-10, I had a most wonderful meeting with our Lord.
He informed me that He wanted me to use my (3) fleshly objectives, but change it a bit... and use them for His glory.
He informed me that He now wants me to TALK,  TOUCH  and  LOOK.
But ....
When I now speak....I am to use His words...by His lips, speaking life to those who are dead.
When I now touch....I am to use His holy touch...by the finger of God, lifting up those who are downtrodden.
When I now look .... I am to use His eyes...and beholding others as God sees them....and love them, unconditionally.

Oh  my!  The glory that has come with this is amazing.

Jhn 10:25   Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 
Jhn 10:26   But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 


Jhn 10:27   My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 

Jhn 10:28   And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. 

Jhn 10:29   My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.
