Well, there's zero doubt in my mind that God will be doing very amazing, and perhaps to some people's thinking these days "exotic" things in terms of signs and wonders and reclaiming people's thinking, agendas, and motives for Himself over the next few years.  I'm in agreement with my spiritual father on this one: I'll get in agreement with my faith with every single date that's ever proposed, and if God's in it, HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!! :cloud9:

But if I never have anything prepared for December 21st, 2012; December 23rd, 2012; or October 14, 2014, in terms of messages really promoting those dates, I hope nobody's offended, but uh... :dontknow: :icon_jokercolor:

I'm pretty busy these days getting straightened out about what God's doing, willing to provide, how He's liable to do things, and regarding "never say never" regarding anything that's within the spectrum of His holiness, His passions as a Dad, etc.

I know one prophet that everything, or maybe not everything but many of the things, he ever heard as he was growing up that is never the way that God will in any way do in a New Testament prophet -- those are precisely the things he's been doing, where God's been saying that if he can't find that prohibition upon his ministry in chapter and verse in the New Testament, or in any relevant New Testament parable, illustration, or whatever of the Kingdom, and it's being highlighted to him by his anointing as being within the proper proportions of his calling, level of growth, sanctification, and measure of faith, then full speed ahead!  He's had quite the season of that and is only now able to look himself in the mirror without thinking prayerfully that if he's a false prophet, then God please stop him now.  He's only just recently stopped thinking that of himself.

A lot of people are in the midst of coming out of really dark seasons of their souls, including myself.  It's all over the Body of Christ right now, whether Arminian, Universalist, or Calvinist; Premillenialist, Postmillenialist, and Amillenialist.  We do have a rapture of sorts going on even as I speak, whether that means anything ominous on the political scene or the dark approaching clouds of worldwide revival, and everybody by now knows which side I take on that.  And if any of these dates have any genuine ties to antiquity that foresaw other significant dates of history that are well documented, then there's no reason to assume that God's not doing something special in those seasons, whether OR NOT it's everything that a premillenialist would be salivating for.

I'm certain that something special's happened [good or bad] on just about all of the predicted dates, somewhere in the world, even if it wasn't what folks were looking for with their current level of understanding at the time.  Might have been a full harvest or the germination of a seed, a special birth, the ending of certain types of trials for certain people, etc.  The Scriptures do teach us to number our days so that we'd set our hearts to wisdom.

A lot of people are coming out of darkness right now that in previous generations would have died in their sins, and as the ol' saying goes would have busted hell wide open.  I'm so tired of the wars and rumors of wars that I'm ready for the revivals and rumors of revivals for some alternative news perspective that seems more in keeping with the spirit of the New Covenant, whether or not it was something that God was actually intent upon moving towards, or whether it winds up being something that God will honor as His people stand on His Word in faith expecting the glory to manifest REGARDLESS because it's theirs by inheritance, heritage, destiny, etc., etc., etc.  God will always honor His Word.  If every member of the Body of Christ wouldn't tolerate mortality another second, they'd have what they said in due course, even if it wasn't quite the timing for it.

Ever heard of Enoch?  Ever even briefly played with the closing of John's Gospel where Jesus says that if I want him to remain until I come, what's that to you? You follow Me!  Well, if God does decide to do something unusual in an individual or with regards to a group of folks or on a particular date, then what's that to any of us that aren't fully persuaded about it?  Might not have been a Word particularly to us, but might have been His Word nonetheless.  Some of the worst people I've ever known with the impossibility thinking are the folks that will scream the loudest about God's Sovereignty.  And they'll retort that such and such doesn't come out of God's Sovereignty but only by man's design, tradition, or whatever.  Yet, if God wished it to be so in their lives, what's that to you?  Make sure you're following Him in everything He's making spirit, life; bread, wine; newbirth and recreation to you from that Bible!

There are some areas of the promises of God that are related to specific times and seasons uniquely and distinctly from the rest of the Scriptures that are the people of God's inheritance, heritage, etc., that if the Body of Christ just got to where they absolutely wouldn't tolerate any alternative reality to that, then God would honor their faith and their audacity as in the parable of the unjust judge that Jesus gave where if you could expect an unjust judge to fork over the goods, or in that case the desired verdict, just because he didn't want to be driven up the wall about something, you can definitely expect so much more from a God Whose Heart is a total pushover for His kids!  Outpourings of the Holy Spirit and the taking of the nations are most specifically in that category.  In one sense an appointed time, yet in another sense something that's been ours this whole time since the day we were born, and a dirty shame if we never possess it.

If life isn't to be spent in the pursuit of all of His best in every area of life, then what good is it otherwise?  If we totally harden ourselves to all dates, then we may turn a deaf ear if the Holy Spirit ever wanted to actually confide the right date to you.  Just because nobody has known and everybody's gotten some really nasty egg on their faces thus far for trying to publish a book with a set date, doesn't mean you can never know.  Sometimes I get the suspicion that in areas like this that even those that cling to Him the most as Daddy don't yet know His Heart for His kids.  There's never been a better Father than Him and He knows EXACTLY what you need to make your life more than you ever dreamed possible, and more grateful than anyone else has ever been since time began.  There's nothing He won't tell you, as long as He's persuaded it's not anything you'd try to argue over 'cause Isaiah 58 and 2Timothy 2 are pretty plain about strife.  He's the Lord Who teaches you to profit and leads you in the way that you should go, according to Isaiah.

What if God's plan is to make you more grateful than anyone else has ever been in the history of this earth, of this universe, of any universe?  What if God's genuinely fed up with the thousands upon thousands of years of grief?!  What if He's tired of your frowning and of your having a heavy heart?  What if He's absolutely fed up with it and isn't willing to put up with it any longer?  What if He refused to ever allow you to have another broken hearted day?  Do you think that that would humble you if He changed things in your life THAT RADICALLY?  Do you think you'd love Him more or less if He wiped every tear away in this life?  What if He's totally fed up with the "someday" mentality of the Body of Christ and is on His last nerve of anyone else thinking He's not keeping His promises of green pastures and still waters in their lives?

What if He's intent upon making an example out of you, but not in the way that traditional religion tries to say with something absolutely horrific happening?  What if He intends to totally blow your mind with His goodness?  Ever been totally scared to death over how good He was being to you?  Some of you are so ready to die, why don't you learn to live a little!  What if His intent is life and not death and destruction??

8 I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me. 9 Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide...(Jeremiah 33:8-9)
