We Are In the 6th Day

 :cloud9: That's wonderful AM! I can't say for a certainty this is what He means (He'll reveal it to you in His season), but what came into my mind was what He gave me on the 4 parts of the soul. It's under this post...... "Discussions Relating to Universal Reconciliation / Book of Revelation / Re: A Thousand years".

I went thru an experience in the Spirit where He made this life in me, and in a sense, He "quartered" me in that He made me aware of each aspect of the four parts of my soul, (four chambers of our heart) one at a time, and then He dealt with that part individually bringing each into submission to the Christ in me. This followed with a literal feeling of the spiritual fire of God "consuming" the offering I had submitted thru agreement with His Spirit and His guiding me. I put into words what I gleaned from the experience in that post. Blessings to you in your walk...... :HeartThrob:

One part that I am experiencially seeing fulfilled is in the day of rest. I notice in the scriptures that the seventh day is a day of rest and that all of the festivals were sabbaths where no man could work.

I have been in some kind of ministry for over 20 years, but for the last few years, I have been prevented by the Lord from doing any work. Of course, I go to my job and bring home a living, but all of the spiritual work is being done by Him internally.

For a long time, I felt rejected and wondered why the Lord had put me on the shelf. I wondered if I had offended Him, but I knew this could not be true as I was learning so much at His feet.

I now feel like the disciples who had worked all night and caught nothing in their nets. I think in this day that at His Word, we will receive instructions as He does the work and the harvest of the earth will be so large that the nets will threaten to break.

 :cloud9: AM, there are 4 levels of teaching us about Him. They are hidden in plain sight in Ephesians 3:8. When He starts to reveal to you thru the Spirit it is as the height. It sounds like to me that is where you are at in your walk. He must cleanse you of all fear, so that you KNOW He is in control, and then He can do amazing things with you as He takes you into higher heights in Christ Jesus, all the time putting spiritual flesh on the bones (scriptures) for you.

Think about it. How could He catch up Phillip, for instance, and him not be terrified? The natural man would probably die of a heart attack, but the man that is walking in the Spirit knowing Him as FATHER, has no fear; it has been spiritually "cut out". Cut out, by love that has been perfected in Him and thru Him. Press in as never before. Blessings to you in your walk....... :HeartThrob:

 A blast from the past can be as refreshing as a breathe of fresh air. I am posting to this older thread because it is almost 6 years old and kind of fits the discussion we had going back then about us (mankind)  being at least in part still in the 6th day.

Might prove to be an interesting  discussion by revisiting this old thread.

This is very interesting, and makes sense that God is still in the process of making mankind into His image (the work of the sixth day). We certainly are not that complete image now. I hope you are right in that the seventh day is on the horizon. I groan to be fully clothed and put on incorruption. It is exciting to think what all  creation will look like on the seventh day. How much longer will we remain in this sixth day process?

Time will show where we are at.
Jesus was tempted in every area,so if there is any area in our own lives where we are challenged to overcome, we must go through it .
I pray that as we all go through it will be short and sweet and the results are quick.
Look at cardinal as an example, I see her as an overcomer but what a lot she had to endure!
Consider it pure blessing as you go through trial and tribulation!
Let us all have grace for those going through the birth pains

I liked what Card said about God's day begins at night.  That means we should see great darkness in the 7th day before we see the light of Christ returning, and prophecy predicts this--the Great Tribulation.   That means we are in the night watches now--first at dusk, second at midnight, third at cock-crowing.





It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night.  Lk 12:38
