Tyrannus Rex? ( :laughing7: sorry, just kidding)..
I was thinking about that school in Ephesus, and then was thinking what a wonderful thing it would be if there were a (bible) school or university which taught the bible using only the bible! And using the references of the original languages of course.. With halls for discussing science.. history.. But mostly for denominations to just let God's Word do all the teaching and all the clarifying.. :cloud9:
I wonder if eventually the church would become "one" like Jesus prayed? (If you could get all to attend that is :faint:  )
Alas, not in this life Marie. :sigh: The flesh is weak. :dunno2:

I think a lot of churches believe that's what they do.....Use the Bible and only the Bible.
But, many of them have different interpretations......then we mix in the fact that human interpretation gets mingled in, passed down, one way or another and then.....
Voila........this fallen world seeps in....and we have what we see in the world of Christianity.
But, that's no reason not to keep trying!
Perhaps, most of the oneness is found in the heart, and not in the buildings and names of the denominations.
And, in the souls of those who walk this earth, in the shadow of the Holy Spirit, who unites us all, in the Love and Grace of God.
And, it is our hearts and souls that God sees and values most, after all.

I believe the Church can only be fully One as it's various members become conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, because He Is 'The One' that we are becoming One in! This is a spiritual mystery, being revealed bit by bit as Christ is revealed in us as a gradually unsealed scroll. In the meantime, this age is the warfare of David in a sense, in preparation for the coming peace of Solomon.
In the meantime, institutions and groups may strive for an external harmony, cleaning the outside of the cup diligently, but that unity will not be reached until the Lord has thoroughly cleansed the inside of the cup.
