.
Just some thoughts.
I was thinking about how they wanted to cast him
headlong down and them getting so "wrathful" with HIM.
Why would they be that mad at him?'
I noticed Jesus had just spoken of Elijah. And how
that for "three and one half years" heaven was shut
UP in the days of Elijah. . . and had gone only to
ONE widow woman. Whew!!!
That was some more authority given to the
witness of His Word!!! Which Elijah was. That WORD was doing it's thing.
It always does.
It did in Elijah's day.
It did in Peter's day.
Because HE is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Then, I was thinking: Does the "latter rain" have
to do with what Elijah's servant was told to go LOOK
for yet again seven times?
What "is" LATTER Rain?
Remember where it says, Ask the Lord for rain in
the time of latter rain?
If the heaven shut UP things for three and one half
years, what will the rain do? and how long will it
last?
Now, doesn't the Bible say somewhere that a day
equals a year. So that'd be seven years. Right?
And doesn't it say He shall be "cut off" in the midst
of the week?
This'll have you digging.'
So when they wanted to cast HIM headlong from the
"brow"of the "hill" and when He had made reference
to the three and half years that heaven was shut
up and only ONE woman had Elias sent to her, He
is making a point, isn't He?
There were "two witnesses" over in the book of
Revelation too, that lay in the street like dead men,
they "killed" them, but they were raised up on that
third day........I have always believed that the
two witnesses were the Word and the Spirit. And
is "in" whoever God puts them in.
Things are not always the way they look. Those
witnesses LOOKED "dead" and were .........but
if they had KNOWN what they were doing, they
would not have crucified the Lord of Glory!
