Title: The rainbow, numbers, and the human races?
Post by: marie glen on November 04, 2018, 04:58:54 PM
I was merrily tripping along on the World Wide Web, when I happened across this page. Actually I found myself studying a bit on Noah’s 3 sons and how they are the three basic branches of mankind, and it came to mind to wonder is there3 or4 primary colors? An interesting coincidence if there’s 3. So I googled what are the primary colors, and went to this site.

The first thing I learned was how to remember the order of the colors of the rainbow.. besides by that famous guy Roy G. Biv. ..I can only say ‘dah!’ :laughing7:
https://99designs.com/blog/tips/why-are-there-7-colors-rainbow/

This is interesting what Isaac Newton (& Pythagoras) discovered about colors. It is, of course though, totally secular.

Written for grade school children, I think, but I learned a lot. :gsmile:

P.S. another 7 I’ve always thought of as one of God’s frames, is the basic 3 times a day within 4 seasons.. (credit that one to the Greeks!)

But I’m left with one question, why 7 colors in the rainbow and not six?

In between each primary color is a blend between it and the next primary color, making six, but between blue and red.. there’s two. The article shows this in an image..

Or is it that many blends are there, but we don’t see them.. but we do see that extra one.. which I would take to be violet..

Why’d He design it that way?

What does this have to do with U.R.? (I’m sure you know!) His utter Greatness.. & ALmighy-ness.

Some of God’s building blocks? Numbers and colors.. letters n dna?.. is another fascinating thing.. and the idea that matter is atoms vibrating so fast they appear solid. That’s one I can’t get my head around!

The colors of the rainbow represent the 4 covenants.
The second link may be the best to start with.
