It's hard to think outside the box one was taught. When we are used to thinking of something in a certain way.. when everyone else thinks of it as being that way. So we're good little ducklings and fall in a row? ( :laughing7: that's the image that came to mind. oh no now I'm starting to think in image cliché's)
I'm hearing the beat of a different drum today, when I read Matthew 25:41.. namely the phrase "eternal aionian fire prepared for the devil and his angels" - "those on the left" are going there at what sounds like His return.
I was reading the verse on biblehub's interlinear and following the links to the Greek words used.
(But I'm on my phone or I'd paste in the link, this is an app  )
If i read it just using the words it sounds like this, "fire made ready devil and angels.." (...fire of the age..?)
Instead of 'hellfire' maybe it's been the gathering to Armageddon all along..
Just woolgathering.. gotta run yard work day!
