Hi all,
I just wanted to re-iterate here that Passover was the feast of UNleavened bread. (Jesus)
Pentecost was the feast of LEAVENED bread. (Christendom)
Tabernacles was the feast of UNleavened bread. (Future??)

As Jesus was pure, so will be His Body.
Here's my thought: it may be that much of what is written in the NT is "unleavened" bread, or "impure." We see in Acts how often the apostles argued and made mistakes. I believe this is to show us that we are in an IMPERFECT age. We want the Spirit, but we struggle with the flesh. They are mixed together.

Much of what is in Christendom today is flesh, not Spirit. Jesus is the pure way, and He is the nature of the Father. What is the Father's nature? Kind, meek, forgiving (most UNlike the one portrayed in the video Gary pointed out on the other thread..), LOVING, merciful (not wanting to "throw anyone in the garbage").

So, apart from what we see about Jesus (and we don't see much of Him, especially after He arose), the NT just might have a lot of "imperfections" or leaven added!!
