Title: seeing God bring good out of heartache
Post by: Caffus on September 12, 2015, 08:13:20 AM
I haven't shared my full testimony yet. It will take time and energy out of me. But I will when the time is right. I have found that it can be very difficult to admit you can see God working good out of a tragic event. Especially when it involved loosing someone you love. All the anger towards God must be let go of. All the pain must be given to Him in complete surrender.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  Romans 8:28

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20  ( Joseph to his brothers, when he gave them food from the Egyptian storehouses)

God uses all things in our lives, to bring us to Him. Many times, what seems like the worst situations, become the best vehicles for God to work with. I know I have experienced this, as have many of my Christian friends.

And, yes, surrender is so very important.

Thank you for sharing. I can't wait to read your testimony. One day, I will share mine, as well.

D.
