I wonder if this has anything to do with a recent book he wrote?

Hard to say right now. But he doesn't seem to be banned.
QuoteFor the remainder of this year, he will be teaching our Acts Series several times with his last teaching being in December.
I haven't read any of his books but have read some discussions about them. The impression I get from those discussions and reviews on Amazon is that his last book certainly wasn't his first URish book.

I enjoy listening to Bell teach.  I also appreciate what he tried to do with Love Wins.  But, IMO when you present these types of ideas...these teachings that go against 500 years+ of the teachings of the church...you had better have your i's dotted and your t's crossed.  This is just one man's opinion but while Love Wins will open discourse and that is good...the book in of itself was sloppy and can open UR up to misinterpretation.  Of course that was happening before Bell's book.

That church's website has been a favorite of mine.  I didn't know that the pastor was pondering UR.  Will be interesting to follow the updates.
