Believe all flesh is being judged as corrupt /rotten,
remember how King David was forgiven of God , but suffered many things  in his own household
for his disobedience /sin
his baby died and another son raped a daughter   and the other son killed  that son  no peace in the fleshy realm ....
no we do not get off scott free , to think like  that is just plain foolish

Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

So I can go and rape and steal and still go heaven.
If every one gets saved.

Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.

Although mercy will triumph over judgment in the end, only a fool disregards the wrath of God, or the discipline of God.

"It would be better for him were a millstone tied around his neck and he was cast into the sea"

"You shall not escaqpe until you have paid the last penny"

"Fall on the rock and be broken, lest the rock fall upon you and grinds you into powder."

Not to mention the immediate cost of sin- a tormented mind and a ship wrecked life.

My point is that a religious person believes in Jesus
because by doing so, and doing it properly he won't go to hell.

He behaves in a righteous manor
to avoid the punishments of unrighteousness.

He can neither love righteousness or Jesus.

If there is no punishment for unrighteousness why be righteous.

If there is no hell why believe in Jesus.

If there is no hell and he still follows Jesus.
Is that not a true fellowship?

If there is no punishment for unrighteousness.
and he still acts in a righteous manor.
Is this not true righteousness.

For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.
(Rom 8:6-9)

Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more.

Col 1:25-27  Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

25 of which I became a dispenser, in accord with the administration of God, which is granted to me for you, to complete the word of God --
26 the secret which has been concealed from the eons and from the generations, yet now was made manifest to His saints,

None of the saints knew about this before. Paul said "I BECAME A DISPENSER." He said "it was GRANTED TO ME FOR YOU."

(Eph. 3:3)
2 since you surely hear of the administration of the grace of God that is given to me for you,3 for by revelation the secret is made known to me (according as I write before, in brief,
4 by which you who are reading are able to apprehend my understanding in the secret of the Christ,
5 which, in other generations, is not made known to the sons of humanity as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets): in spirit

(Eph. 3:7-8) Whereof I was made a minister
unto me, is this grace given, that I should preach AMONG THE GENTILES the unsearchable riches of Christ.

Peter also said that Pauls teachings were hard to take, but scripture nonetheless.  He may be talking about the mystery here.

I just want you to know how much this post blessed me Eaglesway , Thank you for this  :HeartThrob:     I just pondered this for  awhile  and decided to speak up

Gal 5:16 [This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments, and do [them].

Rom 8:1 [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

its that mindset  and matter of heart  that change us by the Spirit of Gods grace named Jesus Christ  :girlheart:

now about the mystery of the ages

Any man that thinks he can please God is a fool.

I must be a Fool and it's not even April yet.

I find more bitter than death the woman who is a snare, whose heart is a trap and whose hands are chains. The man who pleases God will escape her, but the sinner she will ensnare.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

And do not forget to do good and to share with others,
for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people,  for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth.

brothers and sisters, we instructed you how to live in order to please God,

Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

Of course it is God, all things are of God, yet, is it God to be tromping around in army boots all the time? Within the love of God, it is possible to please your Father, because of love, and the beauty of it. It isn't a matter of pleasing Him in the flesh, or from effort, or to earn a place. It is about the mutuality of love between two beings. He is one. I am another, yet....we are one. This is sonship. I do please my Father, because I love Him. In the Bride, I do please my Lord, because I love Him.Yes, it is God because all is God and I am a son, a drop of water in the rushing of many waters, a still small voice in the "Today, if you hear my voice". We are his children and He is nearer to us than our own souls. In Him we live and move and breathe and have our beings. But he has given me a heart, I love Him with it...... and He loves me. I do not fear, nor am I fool, to please Him whom I love---and all the more because it is God in me to do it.

We are incapable of pleasing God.

Period.

The heart of man is deceitful.

The new heart, HE gracefully places within us.

It's HIS OWN heart, capable of true love, that is forever outgoing instead of  self-appreciating.

eaglesway

Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no guile.

The heart of MAN is what it is, as you said. Know one can know it , except the Lord, whose eyes are as flames of fire.....Therefore, "Why do we go on judging before the time?"

The same man who said, "in my FLESH dwells no good thing" said, "This one thing I do...". I love these paradoxes because(IMO) they keep us from getting arrogant and stagnant.

1Ti 1:5-7  Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,  (6)  from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk,  (7)  desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.

1Pe 1:22-24  Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,  (23)  having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever

I have entered into a covenant wherein I have received both a NEW HEART(well) and a NEW SPIRIT(water). These are also working together with God in me to renew my mind(land) and make it a fruitful field.

My body will be renewed at a later time.

I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.

Who shall set me free from the "body of this death'"(the flesh and the pharoah under whom I have labored in pain and condemnation)? THANK GOD FOR JESUS!!

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who walk according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh. If I look in the wrong mirror- I see that old man always coming for me. If I, with unveiled face, behold as in a mirror the image of the Lord, I am transformed into that same image(inwardly, purified, sanctified by love), by the Spirit, who is the Lord.

I HAVE DIED. The life I live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the son of God.

I know who I am. I have no fear. I have entered into the glorious liberty, the blessed freedom of the sons of God.

My Father loves me. My sins are washed away. Old things have passed away, behold- all things become new.

Create in me a Clean Heart O God, and Renew a Right Spirit within me!

He put the robe on me, He is having a feast, I am home, having been dead, now I am alive.

Psa 51:12-13  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.
