This website has brought me a lot of popularity in my little country and I'm often asked to speak on the radio and conferences. This is very good, but I'm worried because of this fame. I think there is nothing wrong with pride. (bibically)
You can be proud of you speeches, website etc.
It gets bad when you for example start looking down upon those who don't understand your speeches.

Just stay thankful to God. There are possibly so many things that could have gone wrong in getting you to this point with either the website or the traffic to the website. It's the gift of God. Just spend extra time being thankful to God. It's the gift of God if you're not fearful or intimidated about speaking on the radio and in conferences. A lot of people would be too shy or whatever.

You state your sources and facts and let others state their sources and facts. If a discussion is allowed, then pursue the discussion if you dare, or you can silently sit there and let your sources and facts justify themselves. The biggest thing is to always remember there is always someone smarter, better, and stronger than you in everything and always take into consideration other opinions before disagreeing because you might learn something you did not know.
I liked how we talked about the colour filters on grey scale photos of Mars. I thought it is less red, you think it is more red, but we don't know until we get a sample back to earth or a manned mission. So you could be right, or you might not be right. :D
I don't care too much about the color of Mars. NASA websites state it's either false color or approximate true color. But the term "exact color" you will never see. The color depends on many things - dust accumulated in the atmosphere, the filter sensibility, the sensor sensibility, the monitor settings, how your eye is going to react to the colour.There are a lot of factors. To help solve the mistery each NASA mission has a colour table with red, green, blue bands which are photographed while attempting to create a true colour image.

I do understand your concerns. I don't think that pride, or being proud of ourselves is a biblically inspired "doctrine", actually many such "doctrines" that are given to us from early childhood, such as desiring for our children to have high self-esteem (esteemers of self), or the "together we can do anything" mottos and such I believe to be deceptions. I do understand that not many would agree with me on that though (not seeking a debate). Thanks for sharing so many Scriptures on pride. The humility ones are actually more enlightening on some things, in a redemptive way. Humility and being humble are indeed doctrines that will never lead astray. I'll give some verses:
