Title: Newly reprinted UR Bible Translations
Post by: dash on November 28, 2020, 06:37:19 PM
I just wanted to make you all aware if you are not already about newly 'RE-PRINTED' UR Bible translations in paper format.

There are many reprinted (often hard to get) translations including Rotherhams, Youngs, Weymouth etc.
They come with a chapter explaining the meanings of aion/olam, any words connected to punishment/fire etc (kolasis/pur) and such words are highlighted throughout the Bible, (obviously with Universalists in mind) so that anytime (for example) you see the word 'hell' it is 'corrected' using the original word.

They are available on amazon (US):

https://www.amazon.com/s?i=stripbooks&rh=p_27%3AInc.+Nainoia&s=relevancerank&text=Inc.+Nainoia&ref=dp_byline_sr_book_1

The companys website is:

http://www.aionianbible.org/Aionios-and-Aidios
(You can download each version here or read them online).

Thanks Dash,

I am excited about using this version. It  may become quite popular, more than the Knoch CLV.
I have already downloaded it and will use it and make comments on it on the forum as I use it.

Thanks! I may buy one, even tho I use the interlinear word for word with links to the original words and meanings at biblehub dot com. (Translators do, it turns out, love to run with word meanings like they do with verses.. also seem to often prefer the most extreme meaning of a word!)

It can also be ordered on lulu dot com, the New Testament for a total of $12.?? including the tax and shipping..

Thank you, I'm really glad to see this reaching others.

I got the Youngs version.

It's a great gift for someone interested in UR or just starting off especially, as it really helps remove the fear they have every time they see those words so horribly mistranslated.

Marie I agree.  Weymouths is an excellent translation for 'plainness', it always helps me to better understand various passages yet it's not perfect...None are of course sadly.

Great find!
