Title: My experience with Jesus
Post by: violettera on February 12, 2019, 10:15:57 AM
Hello

I am fifty years. I am married and I have 4 children. I have been a nanny since two years and half.
when I prayed Jesus to solve a personal problem , I was entering  another dimension during a few second. It occurred a few month ago when I was walking. I felt hands on my head , an incredible gentleness and at the same time the power of Jesus. He opened my heart for praying a dead person who was hurting me. Everything was out of my control. After I was praying , he pointed out without angry  I am pretentieux. I was astonished. I asked myself if I am really pretentieux. In the begining, I didn t realyze this behavior because I have inferiority complex.

Raouda.

Sometimes He tells us all about ourselves, like the Samaritan woman at the well. He told me one morning that Ihad dragon  breath...

I had been hanging on to doctrines of accusing the brothers and et,ed,Lof...not speaking words/waters of life.He is aware of things

that we are not.As Our shepherd,He knows the state of his sheep. Around a month ago He showed me that I try and attempt to

hide my weakness by appearing stronger than I was.....then I realized what He spoke was true.  The stiff upper lip/stoicism,outwardly

when inside I am really broken up.

Isaaih 57;18   I have seen his ways.. but .I will heal him.I  will guide him and restore comfort to him.creating praise on the lips

of the mourners in Israel.   Peace,Peace to those far and near, says the Lord. And I will heal them.     :girlheart:

rather, Jesus wanted to me to be less pretentious. what relationship with faith ?
Unfortunately my faith is weak .This experience has changed my heart but my reasoning has fought againt that and about the scriptures

Hello Raouda

It may just be a language  barrier , but you are doing well .  I will try to explain   what I meant .

When you   felt hands on your  head ,  and  an incredible gentleness and at the same time the power of Jesus.

This would make your faith in Jesus  stronger if He   was  helping you and comforting you  and you knew it was Him helping you

This was all  I was trying to say , because faith is a substance of things hoped for

and when its not hope any longer but

actual   results /fruit    , knowing it is the LORD showing you that you are loved  and was  praying    for answers , you  received   a blessing .
Yes I believe Jesus teaches us not to be pretentious  , I call it self righteous  and Jesus called me up on that also
It is basically the same   thing  , I may be wrong .
But we  all need Jesus because we can do nothing   on our own     ,

  God bless   , Rose

Ok. I understood.
I have just read this link https://www.tentmaker.org/books/PillarLaws.html (https://www.tentmaker.org/books/PillarLaws.html).it enlightened me.
The faith doesn't depend on me but only by God.

I love how the Lord works so personally with each one of us! Giving us, as Rose said, what we need to encourage us, steady us - what the King James translation calls "stablish us"... Plant us firmly! He teaches and personally guides each one of His children.

And His burden is light, His yoke is not hard! He is love. I think of it as having one rule to follow. To love God. Period. Because if we truly love Him :gsmile: we will love others! Because He is love..

He is so perfect... :faint:

I am so happy to see that others have known the same experience as me.
I am trying to separate the wheat from the chaff because there are so many interpretations of the bible.
