Does anyone know if this is a good translation? It says its a literal one.
Quote"...required me to spend almost four years translating Gospels from the original Greek texts. In this process I broke each book down word-by-word into four columns. Finally, I merged everything back together into one long, flowing, chronological text, removing all of the duplicated content. This became the book The Merged Gospels, and it is probably the most detailed and comprehensive harmony of the Gospels ever written."
I think it can be a good study Bible but for me a litetral translation also means the original order of words/verses.
I downloaded the book in mp3 format and listened to it today. Its very well done as far as I can tell. I love it. Also it uses the words Gehenna and Hades, not hell. The narration is very good. The speaker's voice is pleasant and easy to understand and he speaks with passion. Nice sound effects as well. This is a great way to experience the four Gospels. And since they are merged together into one book its quicker and easier to get into the Gospels. Great idea I think.
