Title: Mark 3:25
Post by: Eduard on November 11, 2015, 03:07:54 AM
And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. (King James Version)

We know the literal meaning, but in context, it was about Christ being accused of casting out demons with the power of demons. We also can't cast out our vanity with more vanity, but with meekness, and obviously we can't drive away fear with more fear. But many don't get that last one...  :Chinscratch:  :2c:

Amen Eduard! And if God were to be divided by the desire to be both Loving and Just (as ET would have you believe they are incompatible!), how would He stand?

To answer your question, that couldn't be. Mercy trimuphs over judgement, He will not cast out forever, is not willing that anyone should perish, Savior of all men, especially of those who believe...  :girlheart:

We shouldn't make the mistake of confusing having awe and reverence for God and having no other gods before Him with fearing Him because of some endless punishment.
