Love YOUR enemies...

I sincerely believe that one has finally arrived - overflowing with God's Spirit, when one can truly say, I Love My Enemies...For me, I ain't there, not by a long shot.
But this wasn't the purpose of this post. Yes, we are to love our neighbors (easy), and love our enimies (Can't post the word here to describe how hard that is) BUT, are we also to love Jesus's enemies?
When one reads the article on "Christian Life" - "Purpose of this board", I run up against this quote:
"Let us refrain from bad-mouthing other beliefs and do everything in Love."
I will publically admit that it is very difficult for me to keep my mouth shut and not bash (verbally) "christian zionists".
Since that title: "christian zionist" is NOT a particular church/group/etc...I'm feeling somewhat safe in posting this.
If I be in error, PLEASE forgive, and I'll almost totally understand why it was removed.
By misapplying numerous scriptures to justify their bloody deeds, especially Gen.12:3, the world has/is suffering much.
Jesus pulled no punches in dealing with the synagouge of Satan, and these "christian zionists" are certainly card carrying members.
Why can't we do as Jesus did?
In my opinion, if you ever have to deal with Satan or one of his minions, "love" is the last approach I'd take.

Trust me friends, my shoulders are broad, I can take constructive criticism, PLEASE don't mince words.

I'm NOT calling you out, and again, with all due respect, if you don't know what a "christian zionist" is, why don't you find out especially IF they are responsible for so much misery and suffering as I have alleged here? The internet is an incredible resource for both solid and unfortunately, bogus information. But that shouldn't discourage one from seeking knowledge on line.
In fact, as a fellow brother in Christ, aren't you almost obligated to refute or pass on solid information especially since so much harm is done in our Lord's GREAT and MIGHTY name IF I'm right?
Again, IF what I say is true (I sincerely believe it is), then a) Must we love God's enemies too (when mine are bad enough), and b) can we "bash" -  verbally expose, enemies of the Lord?
I'm not posting this to irritate you.

It is necessary to speak the Truth, but remember that Zionists and their "Christian" fellow-travelers will ultimately be saved, in spite of the horrors their actions lead to.  Zionism is evil, but there are all kinds of evil in this evil world.  Keep things in perspective.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

Would I expose a pedophile? Absolutely.

However would I ask God to give me strength not to hate such a person... I try  :Peace2:
Sometimes it's beyond our will to not hate such groups/people.
That's when prayer and asking the Lord for his influence really helps :)  :2c:

Oh ded2daworld, IMO what I say now, you will probably take it wrong - alas.
I reviewed my original post. I see factual statements about myself; I see questions asked of any who would care to answer; I'm carefully aware of the rules, and I do write out "in my opinion". As far as taking a teacher's attitude and you are mere children here, how so? (Question)
2nd post entails a question: "why don't you find out", followed by a big "IF", followed by a question on my opinion you might be obligated; another big "IF", followed by a "sincerely believe it is" aka: my opinion, followed by a question, followed by a declaration of intent - not to irritate you or anyone else.
Notice, your first response: "I don't even know what a christian Zionist is."
That sounds like a student, and I didn't call you one.
Finally, where's the debate?
IMO, I strongly feel your "P.S." is neither a constructive criticism, nor a valid accusation. :dunno2:

PRAISE THE LORD ded2daworld, I am impressed, and I sincerely believe the Lord is very happy with you.
Thanks friend and brother in Christ.

This thread reminds me of a conversation I had many years ago.  I was walking down the halls of a large hospital with a good friend, and we were discussing forgiveness.  Some rather ugly fellow walked by, and my friend greeted him warmly.  After we were out of earshot of him, my friend turned to me and said, "THAT was the man who raped _______ [his daughter], OK?"  Yeah, he made his point about forgiveness.  The timing was so theatrical, I think God must have cued up the ugly guy.

IMO, Forgiving good. Holding a grudge, bad.

The point is that my friend had a far better handle on forgiveness than I did, having forgiven the man who had raped his daughter, when I would have said the man deserved death.
