It sickens me that Christians watch this video and think that God will torture somebody forever if they don't believe in Him:

Hard for me to explain but I'll try.
We must follow the word of God.
If the Bible really teaches ET shouldn't we just accept that and preach it?
So IMO there is nothing wrong with people who honestly believe in it.
The real evil is in the teachers that keep teaching it after they discovered it's not true.

People's minds are very easily conditioned. I see that in all aspects of daily life.
If being naïeve is a sin.....

That said ET is indeed a horrible belief. And it seems to contradict the big love message painted thougout the Bible with large red letters.
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

I couldn't agree more, yet if someone like Carlton Pearson has a dream of something far more positive he's labeled as a heretic

It is interesting that you would post that video Shadow, because the preacher in the video that criticized him got caught with a male prostitute and drugs.  So where is he now? nobody knows.  Yet, Carlton Pierce has a church and is still preaching, and never cheated on his wife.

According to this article Ted Haggard is living in Colorado Springs again, where he'd formerly pastored.  He's basically been advised to stay the heck away from ministry of any kind.  If only all ETers would do that, then we'd have world peace :cloud9:
