How long before you believed in UR?

How long did you believe in mainstream Christianity (eternal hell/annihilation) before you came to understand and believe the victorious gospel of Universal Salvation through Jesus Christ?

I'm trying to see on average how long someone is in the "system" before their eyes are opened and realize how wrong they have been.

For me it was just about 30 years on the dot.  Believer in eternal hell from age 5 to age 35.  I'm now 38.

 :cloud9: Since I was basically "unchurched" and therefore a blank slate, close to the beginning of my walk when He started teaching me, He told me "hell" was separation from God, and that there lots of people walking around in shoe leather that were separated from God. So I wasn't looking at a literal place from the beginning of my walk.

Of course, before that, since I was nearly 30 before I came to the Lord, I assumed all the religiously informed knew what they were talking about, so I assumed it was a literal place of being tortured for eternity. And we know what assuming makes out of us,  :laughing7: Blessings...

to be honest while being a christian almost all my life,i didn't focus on hell but on the positive things in being led by God
Within about 3 weeks of realizing there was an option to hell ...i was sold on the incredible God we have!
oh, it all took place right around the age of 40

Was revealed UR at 28 and I was born in a mainstream christian family.
20+ years for me.

Im 65 and began my born again process 35 years ago I believe that Jesus would have ALL MEN to be saved about 30 of those years. Oh yeah I have several times rushed my birthing process and have been set back to start over, there is none so blind....... :bigGrin:
