I think that sometimes in christianity we might have forgotten that God is Spirit. When the New Testament talks about Spirit it isn't always talking about the Holy Spirit who is a person in the trinity and has that name. Instead I mean that Abba, the Father, is the Spirit too. When we talk of God we do not necessarily think of someone who is ONLY a person. I say only because personhood has many limitations. We humans are persons, and that has to do with having a body. And our limitations help us because they have been designed splendidly and we can be humble and with few cares. We have to eat, Father has to create and to act. Not that anything is really too hard for Abba but he has many responsibilities. And he cannot fulfill these as a mere person.

If we talk of having a strong Abba we do not mean that Abba is a strong person, we actually again mean that He is something else. I love the idea of seeing Abba as Love. As a Higher Power. And again, as Spirit.

It might help us in our lives to go to theaters and concerts sometimes. The Spirit is not only approached by religion but also by art and intellectual pursuit. And remember that you got Spirit too in you. We have been made in the image of God and that has to do with Spirit. In a way we are part of God, and we are drawn then by the Holy Spirit not in the exterior places but to the heart of God. Please excuse my choice of words, God has no body and no fleshly heart. But there are exterior places where the insincere seeker does not find God in the same way as God finds him. God always finds everyone, but finding God from our side too makes for a meeting of love and enlightenment.

Jesus proposed faith because Spirit cannot be seen. There is an element of uncertainty about God for us humans, because he is so much different from us. But if you pick up faith in the love of God, you find the God who comes near as love. And this perfect love replaces our fear. No sincere religion can thrive just by the fear of God. And from a very thoughtful view it's weird that we should fear God. Imagine it, we live in a grand and incredibly huge Cosmos and the Maker and Birther of this Cosmos is to be afraid of? That does not make sense at all, and so another concept must be found, and I think it is awe. When you watch a mountain, it does not fall over you. No mountain ever fell on a man. Watching a mountain instead is peaceful and serene --- and aweing because a mountain is bigger than us.

In God we do not find the God of the law. The law had been given by angels, the bible says. We find the 10 commandments instead that attach to our conscience and have been written on our heart. And this law is spiritual because it is never arbitrary. Murder is always wrong and it's not hard to avoid murder. Stealing is always wrong and it's not hard not to steal. Keeping laws like THESE is not grievous. What is grievous is when you have to stone someone, and that is where the law of Moses is not spiritual. The Spirit wants us all to be friends and brothers, unlike in the Law of Moses where there is the inside circle and the "Gentile outside".

I LOVE the WORD OF GOD     and cling to it for answers , they are in His  WORD perfectly answering every  question  known to man

It is the HOLY SPIRIT  in its ability to teach us truth  and we wait in the Holy Spirit  to  give its gift of Life to us .

God is invisible  and SPIRIT  , the image of God is  the internal    working , that allows all living things to move and have their being [ACTS 17]

MANKIND WAS MADE  IN the IMAGE OF GOD in the beginning  ,being the Sons of God  ,   but blind  to the invisible  ,and can only see the visible  things  and they are carnal in nature   as all   creatures    have  moving parts  and are intimated      , but the SPIRIT  being a breath or force is what makes them live
till that breath is taken back to God whom gave it life in the first place ..  this is what  God has joined together   first being both male and female  in them as ONE  CREATURE   ,, to me any ways according to understanding the scriptures     ,  what  determines the  BODY   is if they become male or female outwardly    for the carnal   minded  to see  plainly   , but what was hidden  was the working of God  in them as ONE   from the beginning  ...

The Sixth Day: Creatures on Land

...26Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

27God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

28God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."...

Matthew 19:4
Jesus answered, "Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female'

Mark 10:6
However, from the beginning of creation, 'God made them male and female.'

1 Corinthians 11:7
A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man.

Ephesians 4:24
and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Colossians 3:10
and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its creator.

Genesis 5:1
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.

Genesis 9:6
"Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man.

Deuteronomy 4:32
"Indeed, ask now concerning the former days which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and inquire from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything been done like this great thing, or has anything been heard like it?

Ecclesiastes 7:29
"Behold, I have found only this, that God made men upright, but they have sought out many devices."

Psalm 139:14 I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous ...

Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him ...

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, ...

Ephesians 4:24 And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness ...

Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Maybe , just maybe the CHRIST / anointing  was always  there from the beginning  . but who knew ?

It was not till the LORD JESUS CHRIST COME   to openly show us all    , how great of an error we are  thinking from ?

Matt 22 The Sadducees and the Resurrection
...28In the resurrection, then, whose wife will she be of the seven? For all of them were married to her."

29Jesus replied, "You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.

30In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven....

Being only as  the   image of God   is what I am considering it to mean    .
Jesus is the reward  !!

"Awe" is actually a better translation. People misunderstand, in my opinion, why the separation of tiny Israel.. Messiah could have come into the midst of tree worshippers or something.. or worse yet, into the midst of one of the many human sacrificing nations..

To me, God is life.. and so the Spirit is the life force.. abundant, overflowing life.. "In the beginning, God.." So what other substance was there for Him to form all things of? And, He is utter perfection (surely) but alas, He endowed thinking ability to angel and man.. Again, HE could have avoided that.. made something closer to robots.. or an ant farm.. But apparently, that's not what He is creating.
