For any of you that have missed, if you log out of the board, there's a forum for guests that's inaccessible for registered users. There's a father (nickname URdad) who wants to share the Universalistic message with his children, looking for literature and things of that sort.
This has been my number one GRIPE the whole time I've been in UR. I've yet to find reprints or new materials for children whether in print or in the form of a website aimed at kids. The closest thing that I can think of right now is the Saviour of All Fellowship's archived Newsletters on their website because they're only one page a piece. But they're not really formatted in a way to where they'd be interesting to kids, although I don't think very many of them would be over anybody's head at all 'cause how much of a really elaborate concept can you really get into in a single page at a time? www.saviourofall.org (http://www.saviourofall.org) But I've been hesitant to post this info, still holding out, hoping against hope, that someone else will have something else to offer 'cause once an answer is given, I'm not sure how much longer URdad will continue to check that thread in the Guest Book.
I know they're not an age a piece, Tony N., if you happen to read this later. They're a page. Keys have been sticking on my keyboard. I need an air can. I did type the "p" originally, but it got lost in the same recycling bin as the proofs for ET. :icon_jokercolor:
Can't have children's material when there is no consensus of how it is done. Therefore every bible lesson can be used for children just remove the eternal hell and brimstone.
Yeah :) That should work...
By the way... the father of my girlfriend is worried that his son (or her brother, 8 y. old) if growing as a very aggressive boy. The irony is that he's looking for the reason, but he can't find it, because he strictly believes in perpetual hell. How could he know this is the veery saame reason?!? One day her father invited to his home an unbeliever (or "unsaved" as they call such people) and this young boy showed a picture of hell and told the unbeliever: "Do you know, if you don't follow Jesus you will go to this place!"

Gotta love that representation of the Gospel as God saying "Love Me or ELSE!" Woos my heart, doesn't it woo yours?? The Holy Spirit is really grieved by this nonsense! Emmanuel is gentle and cuddly. If ET were true, then the Holy Spirit would be the fire-breathing dragon that a lot of evangelists have tried to make Him out to be that would kill you if you sinned in Church, didn't tithe on the 1st and 15th, or whatever! But the Holy Spirit is the mother that I've never had! I couldn't make it even moment by moment without Emmanuel in my life. Perhaps the best thing that any father could give his children and grandchildren would be a legacy of intimacy with Emma nuel.
Fully agree with you Martin. Especially the first words of your reply.
You know when/if I come to a point I honestly can call myself religious then I'm more so than most of those so called die-hards.
I started out on the edge of the forest took my machete knife and cut my path towards the open spot in the middle of the forest.
Most die-hards where just born in that spot and never actually had to trail blaze themselves to that spot.
If you don't work for something you can't really appreciate/understand something. IMHO that is.
So my claim is that most so called religious people don't have a clue what they are speaking about.
They often are just brainwashed. Lots of moslim kids around where I live. Five year old religious' ones that discuss the political situation of Israel vs Palestine. They pray someone will finish the good deeds of the madman with the small mustache that lived 70 years ago.
Needless to say they don't even know on what continent Israel is located. Totally brainwashed. Same for Christians that where born in teh open spot of the forest.
I hope I don't offended anyone with my above rambling! Please try to read my message instead of my words....
