Title: DRUNK with power
Post by: Dave Corum on March 08, 2013, 08:04:33 AM
MODS, I have no clue how to "PM"
Lock the threads
Finish the job.
Give me the boot.
And when your all gathered together, however you communicate, drink to your success.
See you all at judgement.
If you were right, I promise, I'll salute.
AND, beg your forgiveness.
But what if you were wrong?
What did you really accuse me off, and what were your facts?
Forgive them father for they are so worldly.
Amen

I never mentioned anything about giving you the boot, only restricting what you can participate in here.  It is afterall the purpose of this site.  As I said, the discussion about engineered beings is relevant.  We just don't want to be overrun with The Science Guy's version of Jerry Springer.

These kind of discussions should go into PM.  You'll find that function by clicking on "My Messages" in the horizontal version of the following list which is toward the top of your forum home page.

Dave, get a grip.  Every forum on the www has a purpose, and it is not usually to ramble on about one's pet theory, however fondly believed in.  You can pontificate all you want to in one of your bars, but Tentmaker is not one of your bars.  Have you never had to tell a patron to shut the ____ up?  Here, you are the patron, and the Mods are the barkeeps, if that puts it into perspective for you.

Don't you have other subjects to discuss?  I do hope you will stay here, learn, and share.

http://www.tentmaker.org/articles/a-war-prayer.html
Perhaps you will point to the posts wherein you called these articles the Jerry Springer whatever?
You are incredibly shallow IMO.
And once more arounfd the mountain if you "mods" will: Tell me, tell us all, the main website has nothing to do with the forum.

You're not listening.  You're hearing what you want to hear.

I'm going to be very clear, then it's up to you.

This is easier than mixing what you can do. If you do not agree to these guidelines please don't post.

....

** For these one warning may be given and then if repeated, you will be banned without further explanation.  The ban may be of time duration but rather expect it to be permanent.

1. Trolling.
2. Baiting.
3. Flaming.
4. Calling out any member's views/opinions as stupid, dumb, crazy etc., i.e. insults.
5. Public criticism of moderation.
6. Starting a new thread of a similar topic as one that is recently locked.

7. Outright "trashing" of the scriptures - "they are untrue", "X writer of scripture was an imposter, not inspired", etc.  (Obviously there are translational issues).

These rules may be amended from time to time so keep up to date with them."

Consider this the final warning prior to a ban.  You have an opportunity right now to remain on the boards, but you've pushed and broken guidelines enough already.  Are you able to restrain yourself and not be contentious?

I have absolutely had to tell a patron to shut the _____up, AND I HAD A REASON.
What's the mods reason?
Ask yourself brother in Christ, your life is so shallow you will suck up to the tyranny on this forum? Really?
And in all do respect, I do have other subjects to discuss - if they can't handle the mild ones - the MILK so to speak scripturally, what, pray tell will they do with the MEAT...BTW, it is all biblical, name the translation.
My very next post was the nonsense of why adam & eve were banished from the garden, and I submit, it had nothing to do with eating some fruit - literally or figuatively. IMO. FROM THE SCRIPTURES, verse by verse.
Not allowed here huh?
I'm not anonymous, I'm a real creation of our living God. I will NEVER hide anything. You have my address, here's my e-mail: outpost1@midco.net
I've done nothing wrong, I've caused no harm. I meant no offense to no one, and all could have passed on my posts. Nobody twisted their arms. I did not swear. I posted nothing sexual - BUT I RUBBED THEM WRONG and so did my Lord.
Pharisee's still live.
Amen

BOOT ME then, good grief, quit beating around the bush - You think you're justified, DO IT.

Tyranny?  We follow reasonable rules here, and feel very free to express ourselves.  I think you are too full of yourself.  Does your Bible not tell you to willingly submit yourself to authority?  In the universe of Tentmaker, the Mods are the authorities, and they are really very tolerant.

Cool off and come back later.

Dave won't be back unless he further breaks forum guidelines and finds a way around the ban.  I have some ideas on his behavior, but I guess I'll stop here in case I'm wrong.   Thanks for the solid input and support Laz.

I tried to not ban this guy.  But when someone just won't take opportunities given to them - and even almost insist on it, what else is there to do?  (rhetorical question)   :sigh:

Locking the thread.  It shouldn't have been opened in the first place.  sigh  blessings.
