Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take [it], and likewise [his] scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
I know a guy who has taken this one verse of scripture and has built an entire arsenal of military weaponry. Can somebody explain this verse to me? Is Christ really telling us to bear arms??
