Title: Are we just another creation?
Post by: claypot on October 31, 2020, 04:02:19 PM
I just now had a thought that maybe many of you have already had.

Maybe Genesis is another of many beginnings. Maybe this earth has been created over and over again since who knows when. Maybe we will destroy this dear old planet and God will start us all over again.

Thoughts?

Some things are beyond us...way beyond.  I suspect we will find out soon enough, however.  Keep in mind that in asking such questions, we are like school children who have stumbled into a Master Class.

I only put out there what I think will help us all get through this phase of life. We are like school children exactly and school children love to ask questions and learn. Asking questions and learning are what make life livable.

Thinking about how awesome God is and that He is capable of creating and recreating if He so chooses causes me to know that nothing we do is irrepairable or non- redoable. We need not worry about anything.

Thinking this way gives me peace and creates contentment within and I hope it also has this effect on others.

Yes, I believe it is possible, but I also believe He only has to do something once and it is finished.

I don't think God is ever finished like we think of finished. He's full of surprises!

Well said Laz. Everything we need for salvation is revealed in His Word. Nevertheless, He is so Grand and Majestic in His ability and being, we strain to fully appreciate the magnitude of His omnipotence and power.

EPH 3.15 Every family in heaven and on earth is named.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We will be sharing a banquet in our spiritual life with Jesus.
Creation will be changing in the ages to come.
I. M. O we are closer to the start of Creation since there is that reference to those ages to come. Plus Christ is the first born of those changes.
We are to be above the angels in our next phase.
This age is relatively small and temporary in that comparison of the big scheme.
I.m.o technology is developing to expand our knowledge,  but Christ is there to give us wisdom.

I have a friend who told me between verse one and two of Genesis was a previous creation that failed.. but I thought God ?is perfect?.. And then I thought well maybe it was to prove that without His intervention, to stray from Him/Life/Perfection just cannot ever work - you know as a second witness you could  say (to this creation). But then I thought, being Love, and Perfect, would He be willing to lose all them? ...Well maybe it was all us but without Christ Crucified, but then no, I had to think as the verse ssys ?it?s given to man to die once?.

All I was left with was ?how do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings (His family) AND keep paradise/perfection intact? However you do that.. I can?t help thinking is no trial and error or simply trying.. But utter success and His doing all things just as he has and does, in order to bring about the best and most perfect ?end? result.
