:cloud9: Yeah, John of Goodnewsinc. used to post on Kingdomtalk, which he purchased after Bill Gorton died. He does have some truth. Blessings....

Yes, I've read John's stuff.  As Card, says, he does have some truth to share.  The one thing I learned from him that I'm convinced of is that there are TWO of us bound together in these earthly bodies that must duke it out until our natural bodies die.   I think that the first death is being born into this world and the 2nd death is what we pass through to exit this world.   I would not swear by that, but it is what I think at this time.  The only way the 2nd death has any power over us is if we are in bondage to fear.  The fear of death is the root of man's sin.  Jesus came to set his people free from sin and from the fear of death.

Peace -
Anne

Galations 2:
20 With Christ have I been crucified, yet I am living; no longer I, but living in me is Christ. Now that which I am now living in flesh, I am living in faith that is of the Son of God, Who loves me, and gives Himself up for me.

Yes, he does say some things which make one think..
For example, that "sin" is a demon, which crouches at the door waiting for us to give in rather than resist it.
Or that Jesus preached on two levels: one, to the people (the Good News); and two, condemnation (to the devils/sin which wreck havoc in people's lives.

I like his style and how he stands so brightly in his message of God's total LOVE for His creatures. Truly no condemnation!

Sometimes it's hard to really believe/accept that we've passed from death to life, from condemnation to acceptance!

I think it's true that we (as people) are in constant need of confirmation when someone tells us that they love us..
