Title: Aging with style
Post by: Ross on January 14, 2019, 04:44:36 AM
Amazing how the aging process can make us appreciate the work of Christ even more when we try to copy Him through the way we interact with our family, siblings, grandchildren...
Paul's insight and writings highlight that position we have "In Christ" as being something that he considered everything else to loss in comparison to the glory we receive courtesy of our amazing saviour/brother- Jesus.
Paul points out how his view changed due to his conversion, yet he recognised that this was part of the plan as he came to see the truth which literally sets us free from the law, sin, and death.
As co-heir with Jesus we receive an awesome position above the angels in the age to come!
Amazingly our position protected while we await that awesome transition to the new life.
No wonder so many other religions try to copy this concept in their teachings and lifestyle.
This seems to be so that in the ages to come the correction will make sense to these other religions when they are show that Christ is above all these, and so are we in Christ.
The Great white throne period seems to be a dramatic change on a new stage when the tribulation gets rid of a lot of garbage.
That, for me, makes the new year positive as that next step to the future which removes all the current trash.
Always bearing in mind the true love conquers ALL.
