About prayer

    While praying for someone or something,    do you ever think that what your praying for may be against God's plan?   For example,   say your praying for a sick person's healing,   and the reality is,   in God's plan it is there time to die?     And I'm sure there are a host of prayer examples like this.

 :cloud9: Absolutely. That is why I always pray for His perfect will to be done, when He has not already specifically given me what exactly He wants prayed. Life and death is in the tongue and our words have power. Blessings...

       Yes,   and  the last time I prayed  I just started making certain requests,  and I stopped myself, and I wondered what God's will really is.   and then I  did what you say here because I didn't know it.   And I didn't want to pray cross ways against the will of God.      I do understand however that there are situations regarding which God is open to being influenced by our prayers,  so I guess its just a matter of recognizing those situations  before we pray for a given thing.
