Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

does eph 5 have anything to do with gen 2:24

thanks

You are absolutely right.

Compare: Ephesians 5:30 and Ge 2:23

Eve was made from a member of Adam's body just as the church is made from members of Christ's body. Adam was a shadow of Christ (Romans 5). Eve is a shadow of the church.
