A few months ago I had this lucid dream A lucid dream is a dream where someone is conscious of his dreaming. I walked in a overwhelmed darkness  . Suddenly I saw in the sky a ball of fire as a comet. At the same time I distinctly heard "God" " Jesus".this dream impressed me. What do you think about this dream ? Any thoughts ?

 :cloud9: About 3 weeks ago, I had a "lucid dream", in reality they are called night visions from God. If anyone ever has one, you know the difference between one of these and a normal dream your mind presents. Anyway, I was on my grandmother's farm, on her porch with a girl I grew up with who became a Christian at 17. I looked up in the night sky and saw a comet but it was like 2 symbols. I knew what they were when I woke up, but I went back to sleep and forgot them. I'm pretty sure they were Hebrew letters. So I asked my friend if she had seen that and she said no,  and then I went to the right side of the porch like I knew I was supposed to, and there in the ground, was the "comet". I had no idea what this meant.

Two weeks later, my friend who now lives in Florida, emailed me to tell me she had an odd very real dream. She was taking me home to my GRANDMOTHER'S for my birthday and there were a bunch of people there she did not know, but my grandmother was thin (she was not in life), young and well dressed beautifully, and though she didn't recognize her physically, she knew this was her, and she was so happy to see me as were the other people she did not know.

I've had one dream with this friend in it, in 30+ years, and I don't ever remember her telling me she dreamed of me, but maybe once about 40 years ago when I was unsaved and the Lord woke her by telling her to pray for me, NOW.

When I read her dream, He spoke to me Acts 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

So personally, I would say it's the same thing,  He showed you a wonder in heaven, too, a precursor to what comes next. Blessings....

I do believe the Lord deals with  each in their own way .

  I recall several dreams at first    , when I first believed in God  as  my all


  I could only have a little of it , being consciously  aware , at the time  and become perplexed  , most I believe was sealed up  for another  time or place  I believe that much .


  Job 33  helped me to understand because I went to looking in the Bible for some answers  , I needed the Word and the Spirit to agree  and found this .


For God does speak—now one way, now another—
    though no one perceives it.

15 In a dream, in a vision of the night,
    when deep sleep falls on people
    as they slumber in their beds,

16 he may speak in their ears
    and terrify them with warnings,
17 to turn them from wrongdoing
    and keep them from pride,

18 to preserve them from the pit,
    their lives from perishing by the sword.

  I read the whole chapter   , but this was the main part   .

I cannot interpret  dreams , God did not gift me in that .

I think my dream means I must only follow  God and Jesus who are the light in the darkness. The day before the dream I was interested in spiritualism. I think it was a warning from God through a dream.

I agree, I think He was telling you to look up, regardless of what you were doing. These things are set for SIGNS in the heavens. Blessings...
