Title: the little book
Post by: marie glen on February 13, 2019, 03:54:28 PM
It's been a puzzle to me how the little book/scroll in Revelation 10, could taste like honey but make the stomach sour. Well I was hearing some politics and I actually started to feel sick to my stomach.

And by golly I think that's it! Is it the same scroll as in Zechariah 5, where it's set up on a base in a house built for it in Shinar / land of Babylon and a clear reference to idolatry.. false religion/spirituality.. Said in Zechariah 5 to be a basket with lead lid, called wickedness, and a scroll (deluding prophecy? Or teaching/belief?) goes out over all the Earth, carried by women with wind in their wings (two, and one in the basket).

Which has me thinking, ultimately, all and any thing untrue, tends toward illness.. rui-nation..

So the gospel, which is UR, is the only tonic! "This(?) gospel will be preached to all nation's.. then the end (of the age? Of man's empires?) will come.. [From within!..?]

:2c:well,I will share what I perceive. the 'words of the Lord are sweet"like honey..and it has been a  bitter expierence for us

all to have served sin[taken captive] During the great Exodus..bitter herbs was eaten with the LAMB..having been slaves of

Pharoah[price of this world] in Egypt was abitter expierence[sin works of our flesh when man become captive to his will]

a the thresh-hold/door-posts of passing-over unto heaven..we share the bitter cup with Christ..But the sweet promise of those

words of freedom and liberty...bring up also the memory of the bitter suffering all men have suffered

because of the wicked one.

carried away captive unto Babylon was also a bitter expierence..our sweetness of faith turned into a bitter expierence[she promised

us heaven and put us through hell- give LOVE A BAD NAME/harlot that she is]

the little book has many wonderful things in it...we are promised a land  full of milk and honey..but wemust go through thebitter

expierences of this world first. The little book is full of prophecy. :girlheart:

:2c:we become spiritualy sick in babylon[received of her plagues-death/spots/wrinkles/weighed down by sin]her doctrines were not

words/waters of life/forgiveness/bread of life/healing..but a fiery furnance that the Lord preserved us through..our faith remained

we drank her poison but were not'hurt'of it[ship-wrecked faith]she did not take us down in confusion and drown us in the sea..

He brought us safely through..and rebuked the wind and waves when our lives were in peril. Though we pass through the water

and the  fire He is with us...and brings us out to a roomier place. :girlheart:

:2c:...a place of green pastures and the gentle waters of Shiloh..with nothing to make us fear and tremble. Our shepherd searched

for us..He sought after us..from where we had been scattered in the earth..on the day the shepherd was struck[those who put the word

of God to death and the Holy spirit..to seize the vineyard and make merchandise of us..and rule over us with doctrines of demons and

commandments of men.] :girlheart:

:2c: another thought.....our expierence in Babylon's hell-fire...how the Lord was with us and set us free from being 'bound'to

that false doctrine, The overcome churches are the 'ties that bind us "from the freedom and liberty that is ours in Christ.

He said He would set us free. :girlheart:

:Chinscratch: ..."green pastures"..  :cloud9: "Come to the waters.."

The peace, wholeness and health  :cloud9: of His big scroll.. Truth. And the dis-ease of the little scroll - at least the one of Zechariah 5! (Whether that's the same as the little scroll in Rev. :dontknow: ..when John eats it the angel (messenger) says he must prophecy a lot more.. :Chinscratch: But if it's false prophecy -- edit -- > what the scroll is about or exposing - hopefully we wouldn't swallow (the evil the scroll describes, if that's what it does).. Although, if it's the effects in the world we share meant by John's eating the scroll.. (same as drinking down the frothing cup (of side effects?) the harlot holds in her hand.. which the messenger says will have to be fully drank by the world.. (?)

Thanks Sheila.. good food for thought.. Always :gsmile:

one thing I would like to add,Marie. the word of God is a two-edged sword...the 'Blessing"edge is always applied to men..and

the 'Curse"edgeis always applied to satan and the kingdom of darkness. Thatiswhy we are children of the light, and not of darkness

and there will be no more'night/darkness"REV 21;5...If His sword come down on any man..it will be to seperate the darkness from that

man..and Bless him.Rev 19;5 Outof His mouth comes a sharp sword.

we are grapes found in the dessert,Hosea9;10..Isaaih 65;8 as when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes..and men say.....

do not destroy it...there is a blessing in it.....the TRUE VINE..there is also another vine..of SODOM and EGYPT...that serves up

grapes of wrath..Sodom/satan and egypt/prince of this world..and Jesus will separate men from this vine[darkness]

the scrollwith the curse is God destroying the destroyer.......the edge of Jesus sword with the curse edge is unto satan and all

the power of the adversary to rob, destroy and kill.Ezekiel21;25O PROFANE PRINCE...Jesus,our High Priest..seperates the

profane from the Holy for us.So that He may present us to Himself without spot or wrinkle.

the little scroll is TRUTH not a false prophecy.

one of the prophecies in the little scroll regards the giving of bitter for sweet..calling good evil and evil good in these last days....

the corrupted leagle[Le-Eagle] system  Ezekiel17...carried off to Babylon..andv 22..God planting it on a high mountain[Zion/heights

of Israel. :girlheart:

I'm not sure what the little scroll is (of Rev.) I think I've become kind of convinced the one in Zechariah 5 has to do with modern politics/worldview.. And how that includes a false prophecying...

I wouldn't call the scroll in Rev. false prophecy, even if it's the same scroll as Zech. 5, any more than any other bible proohecy description or symbol of something in the world would be false prophecy..

What I mean is -- for instance, prophecy about the last days "false prophet" isn't false prophecy. But is about false prophecy.

Hope I'm making sense, I'm not altogether sure I am, lol.

Your post reminds me of a verse about the LORD, putting a hook in Satan's / Leviathan's? symbolizing satan's mouth, and will pull him out of the world ,(waters? symbolic of the world) and all his fins will be pulled out along with him.. I think that brings an amazing image to mind!

:2c:Marie..I agree Zechariah5 has to do with  corrupt political and corrupt false religion[satanand Babylon] as robbers thieves murderers

of men.Political/religious wars, greed etc. And our Father does put his hook in his jaw and lead him out.
