If you write over the book of revelation. Can you be forgiven?I ask because this:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=%20Revelation%2022%3A18-19&version=KJV

Revelation 22:18-19
King James Version
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Good ask.

I have seen that this is not referring to believers, but to the unsaved/unregenerated.  They will face the consequence of sin (death) and will be disciplined in the lake of fire.  Every knee will bow and every tongue confess Jesus is Lord.  All will  come to the end of ourselves, and there He is.

We?re all so used to that old concept of forever ..which the word translated into forever is usually the greek word aion, root of english eon. I figure the translators just couldn?t quite really believe. So they chose the harshest interpretations of words and verses, and often the most extreme.

Like kolasis which means correction (according to biblehub.com?s interlinear with links to original words and their meanings.. translators ran some with soMe word meanings.. aion is a good example of that too. But kolasis as correction and then in Matthew 25:46, the Lord used the phrase aionion kolasin (aramaic to greek that is, lol). And of course those fiesty and doubting translators translated to neverending punishment. :faint: Which as a concept about God who, quote, is Perfect and is love (and surely judging by the vastness of the universe and forms of life, he is also 100% unfettered Genius!)

:Chinscratch: I tend to think the things written in revelation refer to earthly events which are even all done by mankind, not counting influencing spiritual powers and principalities, and the split atom..
I have come to ponder the importance for us believers to have a good amount of accurate thinking, which of course is provided by our Perfect heavenly Father (foreheads sealed, Rev.7:9,4 tho 9 is also in 4).
Paul wrote to the Corinthians, I love you with jealousy wanting to espouse you as a quote, virgin to ONE husband, Christ Jesus. And the Lord in his parable of the ten bridesmaids, half of them do not get to go through the door to tHe millennium, and his long second advent (fullscope version of his first so brief one? But with helpers serving, called reigning?) And they will say, but Lord, Lord..
So those of Rev.7 whose foreheads are seaLed are in Rev.14:4 called virgins. So I?m thinking spiritual virgins which is the mind and thoughts.

Previously our hearts were sealed, the proof is our heart?s cry of Father, my Father. A seal is a mark of ownership and authenticity. ..Meanwhile, wow, we believers seem to be like each one on a space walk, barely tethered to reality! Lol.. well some of us, and for a while? And of course we all err in some ways.. for now. (I visit a few facebook discussion groups.. probably will be worse/even more challenging during GWT judgment ?day?.)

What I mean is I?ve come to think of the fire and brimstone, as well as the revelation vision as being the effects of humankind?s doings. I could scripturally expand on that but I?ve already babbled on for a bit now.. So what I mean is concerning the wheat and still tares parable. It says, first gather the tares, in bundles (armies?) to be burned. ..In a forever burning pit in the center of the earth? Or somewhere out in space? I?m not sure where it?s supposed to be.. the extreme crucible for separating the chaff from off every kernal of wheat. (Rich man and Lazarus portraying initiaL INNER conditions of soMe during GWT judgment ?day?. Also the outside. of. the. vision narrative of Rev.22.

No.. we gather weeds out of the garden to be burned in a bonfire. I think that bonfire is the armageddon battle. Rev.16:14-15-16.

..then gather the wheat into my barn.. that where He is we may be - Zech.14:4 says, On that day his feet will stand on Mt. of Olives and it will split in two.. making a(nother) valley. The wheat with him/in his barn.

Revelation chapter 20 is told like describing the crests of waves without much of the in between. Lake(s) of fire I think are earthly, except the final one, the third mention, is at what the Lord called the regeneration which is the greek palin/again-genesis, surely Rev.21:1-5 (which heads up, translators changed all, into al things, another bit of a downgrade, and of 2Pet.3:12-13, the elements melting in a furious fury.. which the rogue angels will be purified by? And any who by then do not ha e their names in the book of Life..

A key, biG clue is 1 Corinthians 15:22-24,28 wiTh Matthew 13:33, key word 3! Three harvests of God, (1) barley/Jesus only straight out from God one tested.. (so close both administer God?s Spirit/Presence. (2) the wheat, through the door of the bridesmaid?s parable, Mt.25:1-13, and THEN(!) comes the end when all (word things is inserted) are and have been brought under Christ, (3) the overflowing grape harvest (at armageddon they are the grapes of wrath/in the winepress of armageddon.. but I think the measured blood will be oil.. the vision in black and white right there.. Thought of that because of a John Prine line where he says what is blood in a black and white movie? Shadow.. shadows.. :dontknow: Oh! and look at the verses 27 and 28 (of the 1Cor.15:22-24,28 which verses I?ve always skimmed over.. how many times was all changed to all things? Five times, and what it is that is repeated FIVE times!

Jude 1:7
