I took this out of another study which I never finished.. chapter by chapter is not easy with this book! As it really doesn't flow that way at all, so is way complicated that way.. tho I may try to tackle it again one of these days on my blog. :Peace2: This brief study works best if one is acquainted with the Book of Revelation.

Outline

A - the scroll is unrolled (Seals broken open) Rider on a white horse rides forth..

1. beginning the latter age called Christendom
2. war will be ever on the scene, eventually given a long and/or great sword / weapon (circa 1945?)
3. during the age there is shortage and famine and inequity
4. also pestilence, including chemical named death, the grave follows (including the mass grave)

The Seals continue to the end. But the WHOLE seal is described. Including its maturity, at the very end.

5. martyrdom continues, and will escalate towards the very end; the blood of martyrs, like of Abel, calls out to God
6. the 6th seal broken open causes darkness (where it occurred) and ultimately great earthquake and Joel's smoky day, red moon, etc. - this is the long /great sword given to war (1945 the atom is broken open/split) but, as warfare, is then paused

(Next verses) "After these things I saw four angels at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice, 'Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads." (7:1-3) ..."And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, with an eternal Gospel (good news) to tell to the inhabitants of the earth.." (14:6)

B - The 7th seal is the 7 trumpets - Day of the LORD - judgment - consequences

1. Limited thermonuclear? (drought? 12:16 & Luke 23:28,31; world government steps up?)
2. Oceans rise, from thermonuclear in? world trade affected one third (Babylon crashes?)
3. Rivers and streams contaminated
4. Light of sun and moon decreased, Joel's smoky day, red moon
5. "Out of the smoke" come locust like (hover, swarm?) "loud" and "can sting from tail and they torment mankind for 5 months" (enforcing Marshall law?)
6. Troops cross the Euphrates with lion like which shoot fire from mouth (tanks?) Daniel 12:11; Rev 16:14 & Daniel 12:12; Rev 16:16, Armageddon (12:17; 14:9,10)
7. Jesus returns "in fire and with His angels" - the twofold harvest of Chapter 14
..."And the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant was seen. And there were lightnings, thunderings, earthquake, and great hail." (10:7; 11:15,19; 15:5; 16:1,18; 18:21)

C - 45 days previously, 666 was implemented and 1,290 days before that, the daily, or that is the "perpetual" sacrifice, or place of? (In Israel) is stopped - Daniel 12:11,12; Rev 12:17; 16:14
D - The vials/bowls are in the 7th trump(et) and are pretty much concurrent(?)

Day of the LORD and instructions -

1 Thessalonians 5:2 - "For you are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.. 4 - But YOU, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief."

"Missing the mark" is tribulation, and tribulation is the lake of fire.. life.. Him!?

Lamentations 3:22 - "It is of the LORD's mercies we are not consumed.."

Isaiah 2:12 - "For there shall be a day of the LORD of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low" English Revised Version

⁃   "For there will be a day of Yahweh of Armies for all that is proud and haughty, and for all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low" World English Bible.
...11 "The proud look of man will be abased And the loftiness of man will be humbled, And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day."

Isaiah 24:21 - "So it will happen in that day, That the LORD will punish the host of heaven on high, And the kings of the earth on earth."

"For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be on every one that is proud and lofty, and on every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low."

ISAIAH 2 : 5-22

2 Thessalonians 1:10 - "on the day He comes to be glorified in His saints and regarded with wonder by all who have believed, including you who have believed our testimony."

2 Thessalonians 1:7 - "...when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels 8 - in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don't know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus."

We are told to be like one waiting and watching for Him.. whether like the waiting wedding party waiting for the cry "the groom cometh!" Or the servant of the householder waiting for the owner's return home from wedding feasts, etc.

Or like the head steward of the house who, while his master is away on a journey, is taking care of the household (providing with meat in due season). Happy the one whom the master finds so doing - being faithful in his duties, when the master returns, rather than carousing or beating upon others..

Matthew 25:31,32 - "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.."

Matthew 13:30,41-43 - "30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn."...41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who has ears to hear, let him hear."

Revelation 16:14-16 - For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and[a] of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 "Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame." 16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

Revelation 14:18,19 - (Revelation is not strictly in order) - 18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe." 19 So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

        ==========================

Signs? / the verses:

Luke :23:28,31 - "But Jesus turning to them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.. ..For if they do these things - crucify Him - in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?" (DRY LEAF)

Daniel 12:11 - "And from the time that the daily/"perpetual" sacrifice shall be taken away and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days."

Matthew 24:15-22 - "Matthew 24:15-22 - 15 "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
22 "If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."

Daniel 12:12 -
"Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days."
