I was browsing the internet looking for a way to improve the lyrics to a song I am writing.  The song is actually about an experience I had  years ago.  Anyway, I searched for the terms "golden paps" and your forum came up with an article by Gary Amirault. Here is part of the article:

Recently, I read an article that quoted that Scripture from the KJV and found that word "paps" a bit strange. In looking up the Greek word translated "paps" by KJV and "chest" by the NIV, I discovered that in this case, the KJV was correct and the NIV was misleading. Usually the KJV is in error, but not this time. The Greek word is "mastois". (For those of you who know Greek, you know the last letter is not the final "s" symbol, but I couldn't find that symbol in this font so I used the regular "s".) It is the same word found in Luke 11:27 where the woman said to Jesus, "Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed you!" Jesus' response was, "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"

Anyway, my song is a about seeing the Son of Man.  And when I saw him he wore a long white robe and also what I will call a golden sash about 3 1/2 inches to 4 inches or more  wide which went across one shoulder (left side if I recall correctly) diagonally wrapped across his chest to his waist and formed what looked like a waistband perhaps holding the robe firmly.   He did not have breasts like a woman.  Men do have breast, but his were flat  (not developed for breast feeding) like most men.

According to other information I found the golden sash represents Kingship and the white long robe represents Priesthood.   A picture is worth more than a thousand written words and the truth is priceless.  The truth is Living Water and Living Spirit not  dying flesh and blood  He incidently his skin was colored like burnished brass,  perhaps 6 feet tall, black, somewhat past the shoulder length, wavy hair and the white streaks could be compared to lightning.  The stress of becoming human showed in his face although he appeared to be in his thirties.  His eyes were brown and I fainted when He revealed to my soul who He was, is, and is to come.

Hope this helps about golden paps..

Back when I was first saved many years ago, someone would come out and pump your gas for you and check your oil and tire pressure and wash your front window. This was understandable since Gas was almost 35 cents a gallon.
Anyway, this was my first vision of Jesus in a dream. I pulled into a gas station and there he was in Jeans and a white T-shirt. I tried to stop him saying Lord, what are you doing here of all places? He smiled and said, "You know I came to serve, not to be served." "What can I do?" I asked Him. He smiled again and said, "Be like me. Serve others. For your service is love to me."

Yes, the Word of God is the Spirit of Truth.  Some search the scriptures never understanding them because no one can draw you to the Father except the Father.  People hear but they don't hear and see yet they don't see.  And as Jesus said more than once you have heard that it was said but He says....They still don't know what is meant.  The Spirit of God is Alive and Well and He can speak for himself.  Consider the scriptures a lot of people seem not to understand or even notice or they don't like them.

"John 16:12-  I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.  (13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.  (14)  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.  (15)  All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you."

God wants worshipers who worship in Spirit and Truth.  And if we worship God, we must worship in Spirit and in Truth --all of it.  And as Christians we are aware that there is the spirit which teaches against Christ called the anti-Christ.

We must be sure that we don't be beguiled into trading the Spirit of Truth in for what we hear and also what we read.  All things must be verified by His Spirit as to it's validity.  We don't want to be like the parable of Adam and Eve?  The tree of the knowledge of good and evil takes on many forms including pen and paper made from trees..

Interesting comments on this thread, but - I'm sorry - I'm clueless as to what the opening post means?  Is this describing a vision you had, or am I just missing the point altogether?  I would love to know more about this.

By the title, I thought this thread would be about His return.. "immediately after the tribulation of those days.." (mt 24:29)

I like how Young's Literal Translation puts it, the appearance of Jesus in the account of Rev 1:13-16 (very similar to Strawberri's dream)

13 and in the midst of the seven lamp-stands, [one] like to a son of man, clothed to the foot, and girt round at the breast with a golden girdle,14 and his head and hairs white, as if white wool -- as snow, and his eyes as a flame of fire;15 and his feet like to fine brass, as in a furnace having been fired, and his voice as a sound of many waters,16 and having in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth a sharp two-edged sword is proceeding, and his countenance [is] as the sun shining in its might. ("the stars are angels" vs 20)

blessings!

The problem is- so many people have this exact terminology and they use it in defense of their various positions :o) If you don't see it like I see it then the Father must not have drawn you. The spirit must not have spoken to you yet :o)

I like the original statement the word of God is the spirit of truth. If we can, in a somewhat dispassionate manner, share from the scriptures in a spirit of wisdom and tolerance, then the Spirit will speak for Himself eventually and lead us into a spiritual reality that causes the body of Christ to manifest the kingdome of God (Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven)

Until the message and the messenger bring glory to God and healing to men in His tabernacle- it is all just dry bones and dust in the air to me :o)
