Hello everyone, I read this article on the news yesterday that a Swedish company is implementing RFID chips into their employee's hands. Could this be a sign that the mark of the beast is indeed literal? Please share your thoughts and the article is linked below.

They aren't the first. Baja Beach Club in Spain had it back in 2005.
The benefit is that they have less fuss entering the club etc.
The true mark of the beast is that there will be (almost) no choice. Government enforced. Illegal for not having a chip. The club is clearly voluntarily.
Likewise for the people in your article "Employees are not required to have the technology implanted"
On top of that they can still buy and sell.
So my view is that this is not the mark of the beast.

Come..take lifes water free. Buy truth and sell it not. when you 'BUY" men's doctrines[books etc Judas priests etc]
from religions...you can't buy it without receiving the 'mark of the beast' because it is not true understanding...nor
wisdom from above..for man that understandeth not..is as the beast. foolish virgins do not have enough understanding
if they're busy 'buying all the doctrines of men out there' and miss out on the true understandings of Christ and the
intimacy with God that is it's results[knowing truth/God/Love]
buy and sell not.........why do you pay money for bread that is not true bread...you share bread freely.
now..if a beast but touch the holy mountain..he is put to death of it[=not spiritually alive to God/understand/see face to face]
that is why...he who receives the mark of the beast can not live...and the veil of Moses face covered the light that shone
forth of Moses face..from talking to God on the Holy mountain face to face...for this same reason..the people said...'let God not
speak to us ,lest we die!" then proceeded to make an image of a beast with their hands/and thought it in their minds. Man
that is in honour before God and understandeth it not..is as a beast.

this is God's Word[ark contents] being opened...the lightening is man eye's being lightened with God's truth
the thunders are man hearing the truth of God's voice..the hailstones are cold hard facts/truth destroying any
refuge of a lie. The woman gives birth to the sons of God[children being brought forth from above with understanding]
this results in satan and his lying doctrines being cast down..and makes him angry...he that leads the whole earth
astray with his lies. Salvation and power of God and the kingdom and authority of His Christ[give life to man]
accusors of the brethren[testimony of Jesus/TRuth] accuse 'blasphemy!" when they are in truth the blasphemers
against the holy spirit....and set forth to persecute.....
the lier[serpent] and deceiver[false prophet] and murderer of man[beast] is consumed with the breath of His coming....
the faithful and true witness wars against the liers with the sword of His mouth...to the dividing of.......
you have people who hold to the teaching of Balaam[curse Israel/man] repent ,otherwise
I will fight against you with the sword of my mouth.................
the demons asked if Jesus had come 'before the time' to torment them.........the time of their torment is when all lies
are destroyed forever...
Many interpretations have been given to the Mark. Anyway, I don't know whether 'tis the mark or not, but surely I will let nobody implant it within my body.

The bible, and especially Revelation, is filled with symbolism.
In revelation, the mark of the beast is not the only thing placed in people's foreheads. The 144,000 with the "Father's name written in their foreheads" ...so one group gets the mark of the beast while the other group gets the mark of God. "They shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads."
The woman riding a beast also had something on her forehead..."And upon her forehead was a name written, 'mystery, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots'" Revelation 17:5.
I've read that in the bible, the forehead represents the mind, and the hand represents the actions.
Moses told the Israelites to, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These Commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. ... 8 Tie them as symbols on your HANDS and bind them on your FOREHEADS." Deuteronomy 6:5-8 NIV
And Deuteronomy 11:18 NIV says, "Fix these words of mine in your HEARTS and MINDS; tie them as symbols on your HANDS and bind them on your FOREHEADS."
Hebrews 10:16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their HEARTS, and in their MINDS will I write them;"
So basically, God will be in our minds and actions, or the beast will be in our minds and actions, is how I interpret the mark. It will be God's people versus the rest of the world.

I have thought of the seal on the forehead of the 144,000 of Israel (and the great crowd from all nations?) as a sealing of the mind to go along with the seal on the heart (which cries abba, Father)
I've wondered if the "Mystery Babylon" (Mystery babble? aka, babble on, and on?) which is upon the forehead of city Babylon isn't the psyche of mankind's empire(s)/world.. representing all untruth/confusion.. the woman/city is said to be responsible "for all slain upon earth" - since Cain slew Abel, I'm taking it..?
I tend to think of the end days 666 mark to be more than symbolic, as ppl won't be able to buy or sell w/o it.. But I do think it will end up being a form and symbol of ownership..
Revelation I think of as a narrative that uses symbolism (meant to be understood, I believe, for in the beginning of it, it says how blessed are those who hear and heed the message)

RFID chips do sure seem to be progressing.. first animals and beneficial.. then advised for children, sounds beneficial... then financial what with chips in credit and debit cards being the new thing and all the rage..
Personally I would never trust an implant what with how corrupt human beings are.. In the 20th century the highest cause of death was death by government, and that's not counting war.. :gimpossible:

I believe the marks are spiritual also but for the most part has already happened. I believe they were connected with the law. Remember how God told the Israelites to keep the commandments between their eyes and in their hand?

Yes for me the old ''mark of the beast '' first and ''prime '' best example was Cain ...
Cain was counseled by God in Gen 4 when Cain chose to let sin rule over him , instead of him ruling over the sin crouching at the hearts door ...
HE chose to hate his brother Abel in jealousy and envy and strife and let that come in and flood his soul /life making him miserable and bring destruction to any good thing , his brother offered to God or himself offered to God ,,, blood shed was that sacrifice ... sin offering starts by the shedding of ''innocent '' blood '' the lambs blood was Abel's offering to God the best and choice and first ... Abel done this in the ''right heart'' Giving to God his best first , before ''taking anything for himself ..
Cains heart was darkened by evil /hate , As far as this goes for me , I can see that mark of blood spilled on the ground / earth as THE MARK [literally ] , of itself ... wrong spirit /heart , one of violence towards GOD and your brother , showing sin / trespass , error , going past a boundary, Gods law of LOVE HIM FIRST and brother as yourself ... and this has continued to escalate even to this DAY ... as into that Day ...
