Hi my church

How are you ?

I will ask you a question.

in many verses god says, can not save of those that are unrighteous.

Does the 'all (everyone) word' only saved the right ones?

All= all righteous ??

sheila

..sin entered through one man..and unto all men..so,too,righteousness of one man[Jesus Christ]unto all shall be righteous. :2c:

Hello whatistruth,

I am wondering what verses you may be talking about?

I can't remembering reading any verses that say that God cannot save the unrighteous (I think if they are righteous, that they do not need saving!).

But I do remember reading this:

[Rom 3:10-24 NIV] 10 As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; 11 there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. 12 All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." 13 "Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit." "The poison of vipers is on their lips." 14 "Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness." 15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood; 16 ruin and misery mark their ways, 17 and the way of peace they do not know." 18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes." 19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. 21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Praying for you and your husband's situation,
Pat

I do not remember the verse numbers.but especially in OT.
he said after all that would be saved, he said that those who were not right would not be saved. That's why I wondered,
In fact,  'all' only right ones?

And Thank you so much for pray. I really need this. :friendstu:

I think most Christians, both those who believe in Christian Universalism and those who don't, believe no one is saved except through believing in Jesus and submitting, and thus are made right.. though we are none of us perfected until Jesus' return..

But one of the verses which shed light on this is how Jesus said - John 12:32 - that He will draw all to Himself. The translators have sometimes added words to the verse, which are portrayed in italics (usually).

This site has the word for word translations of verses

like John 12:32 - https://biblehub.com/interlinear/john/12-32.htm

Quote - "And I if I am lifted up from the Earth all will draw to Myself. [The next verse - "He was saying this, signifying by what death He was about to die.]

My friend: let's answer this with a glorious equation>>>

One man's disobedience result= many made sinners.

One Man's obedience= many made righteous.

One man's disobedience result= polýs made sinners.

One Man's obedience= polýs made righteous.

polýs made sinners>>>>>>>polýs made righteous.

Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

Jesus Christ = Breathtaking Recovery

"You know the story of how Adam landed us in the dilemma we're in - first sin, then death, and no one exempt from either sin or death.

That sin disturbed relations with God in everything and everyone, but the extent of the disturbance was not clear until God spelled it out in detail to Moses. So death, this huge abyss separating us from God, dominated the landscape from Adam to Moses. Even those who didn't sin precisely as Adam did by disobeying a specific command of God still had to experience this termination of life, this separation from God.

But Adam, who got us into this, also points ahead to the One who will get us out of it.

Yet the rescuing gift is not exactly parallel to the death-dealing sin. If one man's sin put crowds of people at the dead-end abyss of separation from God, just think what God's gift poured through one man, Jesus Christ, will do!

There's no comparison between that death-dealing sin and this generous, life-giving gift.

The verdict on that one sin was the death sentence; the verdict on the many sins that followed was this wonderful life sentence.

If death got the upper hand through one man's wrongdoing, can you imagine the breathtaking recovery life makes, sovereign life, in those who grasp with both hands this wildly extravagant life-gift, this grand setting-everything-right, that the one man Jesus Christ provides?

Here it is in a nutshell: Just as one person did it wrong and got us in all this trouble with sin and death, another person did it right and got us out of it. But more than just getting us out of trouble, he got us into life! -The Message-
Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?
