Jude 1:3-7 (last bit)
Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.
For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
IMO, The only eternal fire is God. God is the only thing that is eternal and our God is a consuming fire. Just as we punish our children out of Love. The consuming fire of God's love will punish, cleanse, and purify those that weren't brought to Christ(new) or faith in God(old) Then ALL shall freely profess with knee bowed that Jesus is sovereign (Lord) to the glory of God the father. The formerly blinded shall see and the formerly deaf will hear the truly good news of God's ultimate reconciliation based on the shed blood of Christ on the cross at Calvary. :Peace2:
The last bit only says that the fire is eternal, not the suffering. Consider Sodom, Gomorrah, and the nearby towns, which were destroyed by burning sulfur. The buildings are rubble, the people long gone, and the fires are out. Consider people living in Rome, the "eternal city." They grow old and die, a temporal thing, so we understand that even if Rome were really eternal, its citizens are not.
when reading this, you must remember Sabrina..that such men 'serve as an example' of such..and are
not 'the spirit' of such. God uses man to display what is unseen[spirit realm]..manifest ..openly that
which is unseen[spirit] the punishment of lof is prepared for the devil/demonic spirits.
liar and robber spirits never handle the truth aright..because the truth is not in them..as Jude says
abusing the grace and long-suffering of God..and even as Paul prophesied..not treat the flock tenderly
positive/negative contrast..teaches..openly shows..the fruitage of such spirits. the truth is a narrow
path[not overly righteous or overly wicked] strait is the way..when a serpent moves his head and body
goes/swings to the left and the right. Religion is full of examples of this ...strict legalistic self-righteous
churchesor ,lax,reveling in sin worshippers..
when Jesus appears 'seperate from sin' He shall seperate the people one from another..and take away
our sin..the sin He takes away from man is the evil spirits/negative contrast tool..which He puts in
the LOF...the evil is consumed for it is no part of God..or ever will be..and having served it's purpose
will no longer be 're membered in the body"..that God nor Christ shall carry them.
For God indeed carries us..and because of our sin...He has been pressed to serve..
this is Christ and Father 'delivering us from evil" when they seperate us........
....go tell that fox..that I will drive out demons today and tomorrow and on the third day I will reach

....the pattern has always been that no 'tool' be in the final assembly of the house of the Lord.....
Jesus as He who rebuilds the fallen 'spiritual temple/His body of redeemed men" see's to it.
destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days. demonic spirits/weapons of war
and destruction of God's temple[our body] do this and destroy[corrupt/bring death]
HE WHO DESTROYS THE TEMPLE OF GOD..GOD SHALL DESTROY.
abomination of desolation is this'sin" image of the beast..lifting himself above God's throne..sitting
in our bodies as sin..resisting the will of God...a murderer and liar from the beginning.
the prince of this world 'has nothing in me"there shall be no 'variation of a shadow/darkness"
He Comes and breaks up the works of the devil. Look at the Holy city rebuilt! Jerusalem above.....
outside are the dogs..majicians,immoral,murderers,idolaters and lovers of lies.......
let him who does wrong continue to do wrong[evil contrast] let he who is vile continue to be vile[evil]
let him who does right[holy/good/contrast] continue to do right,let him who is holy continue to be holy.
godlessness=evil contrast...godliness =of God..holy.....
this great and Holy ministration of God and Christ shall be done for all men.........

Our God IS a consuming fire and He is eternal. The wicked, the nonbelievers, the pagans and heathens, the corrupt, slanderers, liars, the many called (that were not chosen) will all suffer a loss and they will be punished for a time. They will be judged and punished but the punishment will cease one day and they will be purified and they will be brought into the fold.
