Look through the book of Acts, and you will find that in every recorded case of the gospel being given, there is never any threat of an eternally burning hell awaiting those who don't turn. If it is supposed to be so essential to the gospel message, wouldn't you think that the apostles would have made it very clear in each message they brought? They only declare good news, Christ's death, burial, and resurrection; forgiveness of sin, etc.

Probably because burning in Hell isn't good news. lol
Only LOVE is good news. Only ultimate forgiveness for ALL mankind is good news. And it's certainly the only loving thing.
Thanks be to Jesus Christ, the SAVIOR of ALL men, especially those who believe. :boogie:
Becuase there is no Hell idea as we see in the movies.
What they were being saved from was the destruction that was coming upon them in the form of Rome, under rule of Ceasar Titus.
Peter said stright forward in Acts 2, repent and be saved from this wicked and perverse generation.
The destruction of that generation.
