Lazarus parable in context

I find it very suspicious! These days.. (about the Lazarus parable)

First we see that the Lord was, as usual, being harassed by that highly carnal crowd, the Pharisees - Luke 16:14 "now the Pharisees who were lovers of money, also heard all these things and derided Him".

Soon after that Jesus told the parable of the rich man - "living sumptuously every day while Lazarus lie destitute and dying at his gate".. (Lk 16:19)

Right after that (17::1) the Lord talks about how it would be better to be thrown into the sea with a big stone around your neck, than that you should offend, or put a stumbling stone in front of one of these little ones. Who are the little ones? I'm lately thinking they are little ones of tiny faith just beginning.. they are seeking.. then they come up to that whole hell slander.. and are disappointed and stalled.. maybe for a very long time.

Woe if your teaching turns another away.."?

(This doesn't mean our brothers and sisters under the hell delusion are 'less than' - I think there's a lot of dislike and a spirit of division on the roll out there on the www. That of course is carnal. "Forsake wrath, division, contention, etc.." I don't doubt there's a few Pharisees about, but even so we're to love and pray for our enemies. ( :Chinscratch: I'm not very good at that.)
