Isaiah 40:11 - "He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young."

Since I know ALL will be gathered, I have come to very much believe this verse applies to the ALL.

"He sits on the mercy seat between the cheribum"

:Chinscratch: I just read that a few minutes ago and now I was reminded of it.

It doesn't mean anyone gets to avoid the fiery conviction.. And if a 'soul' were to never repent/turn - tho it will not happen because the Word says "all" - they would literally, I believe perish. And cease to be.

I think that's the lesson and truth - unavoidable iron rod of truth - that all in heaven and earth are required to learn. Along with just how bad and totally ruinous the way/life that is disconnected from Him is. Do you know what I mean?

If God were not so very much upon that Mercy Seat.. wouldn't we all simply perish? I mean no matter how we look at it, concerning death..

But I've strayed! :laughing7:

But how amazing that He can let everything get all twisty, by all these choices other than his, they run their course, but have all things return to Him. He is genius..

I think Isaiah 40:11 means He has gently gathered, does gently gather, and will gently gather.. And one by one, personally being Shepherd to each one.

..just some thoughts.. :Peace2:
