Divine Purification

"Before the great white throne, that vast throng, their naked spirits conscious now of the blazing holiness of God, will be subjected to the process of the second death. What those processes are, their intensity and their duration, we are not told. They will suffice, however, not in themselves to perfect, but to bring those who suffer them to that agreement with the judgment upon sin which they effect, and through the cross finally to reconcile them to God (Col. 1:20), in a subjection where He will be all in all. When that acquiescence in judgment upon sin is reached, and applied in soul and spirit, then will be possible the final victory over death. Hence it is written that when this subjection is reached, then and only then, the last enemy, death, shall be destroyed. ~A. E. Saxby

Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

Builders beware! Let every builder do his work carefully, according to God?s standards. For no one is empowered to lay an alternative foundation other than the good foundation that exists, which is Jesus Christ! The quality of materials used by anyone building on this foundation will soon be made apparent, whether it has been built with gold, silver, and costly stones,  or wood, hay, and straw. Their work will soon become evident, for the Day  will make it clear, because it will be revealed by blazing fire! And the fire will test and prove the workmanship of each builder. If his work stands the test of fire, he will be rewarded. If his work is consumed by the fire, he will suffer great loss. Yet he himself will barely escape destruction, like one being rescued out of a burning house. ~TPT

Song

Hi. Just had an evangelism experience where I was talking to someone, convincing them to believe in Jesus Christ with faith alone. I was also telling them that everyone will go to Heaven, all will become believers in Christ, so I sent them this verse

MALACHI 1:11 In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to my name. (NIV)

To which they asked "Ok, what incense and or pure offerings should I use".

I responded with "The incense and or pure offerings are a metaphor for faith alone in Jesus Christ." The verse shows that all will be worshipping the Lord.

So the title of this thread reminded me of that experience I had just yesterday  :dsunny:
