ELCA Lutherans will say with Braaten,

"Salvation in the New Testament is what God has done to death in the resurrection of Jesus. Salvation is what God has in store for you and me and the whole world in spite of death, solely on account of the living risen Christ. ... The universal scope of salvation in Christ includes the destiny of our bodies together with the whole earth and the whole of creation. This cosmic hope is based on the promise of eternal life sealed by the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Through raising Jesus from the dead, God put death to death, overcoming the deadliest enemy of life at loose in the world. Man In Adam & In Christ

Evolution Or Creation?

     In dealing with the question of the age of the earth and how it came into being, four alternative views are presented with one being discussed in depth ("The Preparation of the Earth Before Man"). God does not treat men as mass-produced, identical repetitions one of another: he treats men as individuals, no two of whom are alike. 'God', as it has been said, 'has his own secret stairway into every heart.' 'There are as many ways to the stars as there are men to climb them.' 'God', as Tennyson said, 'fulfils himself in many ways.'

Some e-Sword Bibles have Stong numbers/links embedded.
Is there a way to hide those numbers and just click on the word to get the strong info.
Those that use BibleWorks will understand what I mean.
I know I can, for example, switch between a KJV with and without strong numbers; but I don't like having my screen cluttered up by to many tabs that just make the program less usable and take away screen space.

For those of you who like portability there are some PDA options.

I've been using Olive Tree http://www.olivetree.com  (http://www.olivetree.com) .  There are many free versions for PALM OS and for Pocket PC.  On my Palm I can easily switch between versions almost like having a parallel.  Young's literal is free as is MKJV.  I bought a KJV through there that lets you tap on the word an it opens up the Strong's dictionary. Unfortunately, their version of the Strong's seems to have some Spurgeon commentary built in :(

I really like this one in that I can tap on a word in the KJV which opens up the Strong's Dictionary.  Then, within the Strong's I can tap again to Strong's Concordance to get every instance of that Greek or Hebrew word's usage.  I can really tap around in circles and do a pretty good study.  This version of the Strong's doesn't have the Spurgeon commentary in it :)

I'm really happy with both of the above tools.  Both of them allow the capability of adding notes also.

Finally, I use Plucker found here: http://www.plkr.org (http://www.plkr.org) to download and read web pages on my Palm.  I've downloaded a number of resources from this and other sites so I can read them whenever I wish.

Often times I will sit in the park for lunch and read web pages or study the Bible.  The PDA goes everywhere with me.  I need to get a Greek Interlinear one of these days.

I know of the Olive Tree software. But i don't have a PDA. Besides of that I've always been a large screen fanatic.
