Here's a funny thing! In the book of Revelation, does anybody/ET teach there will be literal horsemen of the apocalypse, galloping, thundering throughout the age? No it's taken to be metaphor! But the very next seal (element) when it begins, John sees "souls under the altar" and their blood cries out to God like Abel's did, and this is taken as literal souls languishing under an altar..

The altar was really huge. That's why in many drawings you see steps leading up to it.
