A contemplation of how a fundementalist came to believe UR, covering objections and support for Universalism. I thought I would share a new book . Providing link http://www.universal-publishers.com/book.php?method=ISBN&book=1612331831

Looks very interesting!

I liked the synopsis:

Synopsis
-  From the earliest days of the church, there have been three views on what happens to those who die without knowing Christ: damnation, annihilation, and restoration. Patristic Universalism presents scriptural, philosophical, and historical support for the restoration view and demonstrates why it was the model advocated by some of the earliest and greatest church fathers.
-  Anyone disillusioned with the traditional view that one must get it right in this life or spend eternity in hell will find Patristic Universalism an appealing alternative that remains true to Scripture. One does not need to abandon the Bible as the inerrant and infallible word of God to discover that there might be more to the salvation equation then we've been led to believe.

That's an important point and distinction to make as most folks when they first hear of Universal Reconciliation (or what they think of as universalism) they think it is the belief that some are saved without "believing" upon Jesus.. This, of course is not true of Universal Reconciliation..

And one can read the first 25 pages of the book there.. (which I think I will go back and read right now) :gsmile:  thanks for posting it..!
